A day off from running to help get a rescued dog to her new forever home.
I was able to get in some quick paced walking in the blast furnace heat down in Phoenix while waiting for Honey to arrive. 112 degrees in the bright sun so only managed 2 plus miles but it was nice to get out to stretch my legs as I would end up driving almost 400 miles. Of course Phoenix isn't a great place so a short exercise was enough.
It was good to get back home late in the evening and hit my bed. I hope that sweet Honey gets to her new home in Oklahoma soon and can enjoy the love and care she deserves after being rescued from a high kill shelter.
