Trying to stay consistent - My Actifit Report Card: July 18 2025

My training and diet has been a mess the past couple of weeks. Although my mileage has stayed around 5 or 6 miles I've lost a lot of motivation and my diet hasn't been good and my legs have felt heavy and tired from that. But at least the area is beautiful and I love being back here in the Black Hills.

The weather has been quite warm and humid so my afternoon runs after my shift at the hatchery are tough. Thankfully my usual route is basically flat and easy with half being on easy single-track loops through the fields.
Lulu loves her daily strolls around the hatchery and park and the extra steps are good for me.

I'm entered in a 6 hour local trail race next month and am looking at a 12 hour trail ultramarathon in Montana the week before so I'll see how it goes - won't be at my best level though.
