Sunrise at Eniovden (Midsummer day)

24th of June - Eniovden (Еньовден) is an old Bulgarian holiday.

Eniovden is a day of the sun and the healing power of the herbs in Bulgaria.

It is reckoned that on that day different herbs have the greatest healing power, especially on sunrise.

On this day I woke up early and was cycling to Burgas beach to meet the sunrise.

The weather was gloomy and the sun did not appear on the horizon, but I enjoyed the beautiful views.

I rode my bike to Sarafovo, where I photographed herbs and sunflowers.
