Up and pretty early today. Went and picked up Lady and headed for the woods. It started off cloudy...
Fall colors are looking amazing!!!
The dogs had a blast, running around chasing chipmunks.
Over the years lots of trees in the woods have fallen as a consequence of storms... as time goes by they become “home” to animals, insects and plants. Here’s a little mushroom colony growing on an old tree trunk.
If you pay attention there’s cool motives everywhere.
By the time we were done the sun had burned off the clouds and the weather was beautiful and making the fall colors look even more beautiful.

Later it was time for the usual Sunday chores.. laundry and grocery shopping. Made yummy steaks and mashed potatoes for dinner and relaxed with a movie and my knitting. Thanks for stopping by.
