Woke up to snow this morning, and as soon as we had daylight we headed out for the Sunday morning walk. We decided to stay in town since the roads were icy and covered in several inches of snow.
Went and picked up Lady, and headed for the trails.
All that was covered in ice yesterday, was now covered in snow.
And it was still coming down pretty heavy.
This did of course not stop us from stopping along the way and make a snowman.
Although I love summer and all the colors, there is something mesmerizing about clean, fresh, white snow.
Since we did the weekly grocery shopping on Thursday, we did not have do that today. Got the laundry done, and then just relaxed... back to work tomorrow, after 11 days off. I really needed this, and feel well rested and ready to take on the new year.
