Healthy lifestyles don’t just happen by accident.

The reason a healthy lifestyle isn’t as easy as getting your ducks in a row is that life has its limits requiring creativity and intelligent informed design.

In the last couple posts I have been talking about sacrifice, prioritization, and intention. These might not be fun topics but I believe they are some big parts to sticking to something long enough to be able to measure the results...

It’s all to easy to talk about the plan but it’s when you get to “how”... that’s when the rubber really meets with the road.

That’s when it gets hard.

I think that if we spent 80% of our time figuring out “how” and 20% of our time on “what” we would find this planning would catapult us a long way in the direction of our lifestyle goals!

“How” is the nitty gritty... the nuts and bolts. It’s the details and we all know the devil is in the details... it’s the details that derail us... especially on this planet where a million and one things can go wrong.

This is where recruiting the help of a lifestyle coach or a personal trainer can really help I believe.

At 10,000 feet everything can look easy like theirs no problems in your world... but zoom right in there and all of a sudden you will be bombarded with every conceivable obstacle and roadblock.

That’s why spending some time (and maybe even some financial capital) on someone with real life experience will go a long way to get you from point “A” to point “B”each.

On the way to your desired destination your going to have to move while course correcting. Being dynamic just like how a jet plane navigates making minute adjustments along the way. Compensating for headwinds, crosswinds, drag, additional weight, etc. All of these are forces at work and have to be taken into account for if you want to reach your ultimate destination.

A pilot can’t just fly back to the airport every time they fly off course... They can’t just start over again and again until they make the perfect run. They have got to adjust course multiple times as the move towards their destination... and that’s what your going to have to do as well!

And it helps a lot to have someone on your team helping you counteract all those external and internal forces at play (or work... and sometimes both!) Someone to help you focus on your dreams and destinations! Someone who can provide encouragement and immediate feedback as you move along. Someone who’s been there done that. Someone who cares as much as you do about where your headed.

That’s what a personal trainer does. They plot out a course towards your objective and help you a step at a time to reach those check ins. They celebrate your wins and set up the game for you to win. They kick start your spirit when you crash and burn. Day in day out you know that someone believes in your potential and pretty soon you will to!

These are just some of the things that keep me excited about being a certified personal trainer. I just can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing than helping people become the best version of themselves! What’s better than that!

I just can’t stop seeing people’s potential... and I have been at it now for over 10 years!

I have had to change the way that I train and the way that I operate, many times but all that learning by fire lead me here to the Hive Blockchain! And it’s here that I have decided to plant my flag and STAND... WITH YOU ALL!

A big part of achieving success is realizing what sort of ground you are standing on and intentionally making the choice to creating a supportive environment. And it all starts with the people you surround yourself with!

Great stepping and congratulations on the automaticwin. What a wonderful write up and I am glad you are helping others achieve their liestyle goals and live healthy. I believe health is a very important aspect in our lives; what is the point of having lots money and constantly lying in hospital beds suffering. I have learned a lot from following you and I love your automaticwin initiative. I am now used to getting up and achieving the recomended ten thousand steps by ten. I combine this with the 16/8 intermittent fasting, pushups and rollouts. Interestingly,I have found over the past two years my weight has remained constant at around 70kgs and I am happy. Sometimes, I slip off and have takeout junk food when am lazy to cook :}
Thank you for all you have done for the Actifit community and I look forward to learning more and contributing where I can. You have definitely made the right decision and I want to encourage you to keep going strong. Enjoy your new week ahead:}

Absolutely @cryptoandcoffee! I have been meaning to look more into what @sportstalk is about. I know that every @Actifit report makes use of the #SportsTalk hashtag but other than that I haven't really delved deeper.

Smallish community that is growing by the week that loves anything sport related. Your posts on fitness and training are ideal and will be followed and supported. Your last post was put forward for extra curation. The sports token is roughly 0.0002 Hive at the moment but even that is climbing up again slowly. There is value everywhere and before long there will be a decent sized community here. Get in now as it is developing and stake whatever you earn as it will pay off.

That's pretty cool! So who organizes the @SportsTalk community? And I'm curious now... How does the staking work? Is it possible to earn tokens (SportsTalk or Hive?) this way?

Yes absolutely. Sportstalk has it's own tribe with it's own token. You can keep posting on Actifit like you are and if you wanted could expand onto sports promoting whatever you are doing plus giving exercise and training info turning it into your space. You receive Hive and Sports in the rewards so a double hit.The owner of the tribe who set it up is @patrickulrich but he wants the community to decide on things so everyone runs it and suggests things to improve the offerings. Whatever sports you earn just stake for now as it looks like stake is going to be the power of the vote and not the time of the vote going forward. You must have Hive Engine where your tokens go so just stake them and see how they grow. Your choice at the end of the day but it is a good time to start now on here.

yes i want to again cross my 100k steps that i made in my life last year in contest yeah i am ready covid 19 blocked me, but i am ready dear inshahAllah soon i will going to start

COVID-19 has added it's self to the list of every day obstacles we all face... But whenever resistance rears it's ugly head... Beautiful opportunity also is present to those who have a definite purpose, focused intent, and a driving determination to WIN!

My only question to you is... Should we do it in 2020 or should we wait for 2021?

You are right and we have to move forward with our courage and strength.
And first of all we have to see that at that time there are curfews in some places in many countries and people are not allowed to go out by the government. Is suggested. We have to consider all the circumstances before facing any such decision or walk.
But I am also thinking of completing 100K in lock down and today the government will announce. i'ready to achieve again 100k😍

Yes. These lockdowns, although necessary in order to curb COVID, do provide a challenge to living in healthy ways. Its difficult, for some I'm sure, to find ways to be active... But it sounds like you have a plan! Do you plan to go for the 100K step goal while your at home? Wow! Wouldn't that be something! Proof that their's nothing that limits a man or woman but themselves!

Did the government do a shutdown over there? Here in Canada we aren't quite at that point... But I can tell it's close to full lockdown. They have already shut down the schools.

Yes i am ready and have plan from friday to go for long walk and hope one day 100k will be inshahAllah 🤗
