I am really starting to enjoy my lazy Sundays because of Hive, #sublimesunday and @actifit! When I block that day off for relaxation and family time, I have been inspired to cook up a hike somewhere around town.
When summer comes, I will likely rejoin the #geocaching movement with the nice weather as my little one loves it. In the dead of winter, I can simple walk with my little ones and the old dog.
Many ghosts of summer activity haunt or hibernate for the summer months.
Parks and play structures are generally underused in canadia during winter months, even more so during the COVID lockdown.
I am blessed to be living on the edge of a nature preserve full of trails and my dog shows very few of her 14 years of age when we are walking.
When you look at these unkept trails and see how well packed they are, you get an idea how popular they are for people looking to add a few thousand @actifit steps and dive into nature.
I did run into a couple families on my walk despite it being rather cold and windy. While it is a touch sad seeing the careful people avoiding each other physically like the place, literally, it is great to see the activity and know we will be back together at some point.
A nice clean river runs through the preserve and is lined on one side by some of the newest nicest houses in town.
When you look up, you have to wonder why these Canada geese are still up in the great white north. Procrastinators? Turn left and fly south for a couple days you hosers!
I feel extra Canadian trudging through the wilderness to start January out and global for having shared it with my growing group of followers on the blockchain.
All good things must come to an end and I must take the doglet back home. She is 98 in dog years after all and I can hear the ice balls that have formed between her toes. She slept like a rock the rest of the night.

7200 isnt that a great feeling, i love the fact we both got it organically , and still having fun
Kinda.
I wish I could have been in the position to augment my stake and pump some cash into the blockchain but it was not to be. Still a very low price for Hive and I will make some huge jumps this year.
Just goes to show that people like you and I can have fun, not have to invest $ and still become blockchain dynamos!
