Es muy grato para compartir con ustedes una nueva iniciativa creada en esta oportunidad por @maryed y a la cual fue invitada a participar por el amigo @ilazramusic y consiste en dar a conocer un top 5 de nuestros vídeos musicales favoritos, y por ser un tema que me apasiona muchísimo, porque reúne a dos de las cosas que más me gusta hacer en la vida, como lo son la producción audiovisual y la música.
Antes de comenzar, quisiera aclarar que esta selección está basada, principalmente, en lo que es el rodaje y toda la producción de cada film musical que les nombraré a continuación, ya que es lo que veo, más allá del tema musical, cuando disfruto de un vídeo musical, sin importar el genero musical o el artista.

1.- Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely -Backstreet Boys
Este video pertenece a la agrupación estadounidense Backstreet Boys y fue dirirgido por el gran director Stuart Gosling, conocido también por trabajos realizados con artistas como Madonna. Fue grabado en diciembre del año 1999 y representa una pequeño homenaje a Denniz Pop, productor de la banda, quien murió un año antes del rodaje.
Lo que me gusta y me ha impactado siempre de este video es la capacidad de director de mover la fibras y emociones más susceptibles del ser humano con un tema tan controversial como es: la muerte, ya que la canción habla sobre el sentimiento de estar y sentirte solo por una ausencia de un ser querido, así que el vídeo relata la historia que aparentemente estaba viviendo cada uno de los integrantes. Brian, enfrentaba el riesgo de una operación a corazón abierto, AJ y Nick la muerte de una exnovia, Howie la muerte de su hermana y Kelvin la partida física de su padre, historias que durante el desarrollo del vídeo se iban conectando entre si. Entonces, el hecho de conectar la muerte con las emociones de los cantantes y las del publico, que seguramente se identificó con alguna de estas vivencias, hace para mí, que este vídeo sea extraordinario, y yo nunca supe si realmente esta historia es real o forma parte de una genial estrategia de marketing, pero lo cierto es que funcionó a la perfección. Sumado a todo esto, se encuentra de echo de que lo dedicaran a uno de sus mejores productores, ya fallecido para ese entonces, lo cual, me parece que impulsó el éxito del rodaje.

2.- Magdalena - Alkilados Ft. Mike Bahia
Para quien no sepa de audiovisual, quizás este vídeo no representa nada especial, y puede que la canción tampoco tenga una mensaje fuera de lo común, así que se podría decir que es más de lo mismo pero déjenme decirles que no es así, el redoje de esta pieza es realmente extraordinario, y ya les cuento por qué.
Nuno Gomes, es uno de mis directores favoritos y es catalogado por muchos como "el genio detrás de las cámaras, y yo estoy en total acuerdo con eso. Èl ha trabajado con muchos artistas como: Chino y nacho, Andrés Cepeda, Cali y el Dandee, Lasso, Daddy Yankee y muchos otros, y todas su producciones son originales y con una alta creatividad que ha dejado a más de uno con la boca abierta
El rodaje del vídeo se hace con un plano secuencia, con una cámara en un set circular, y los cambios de escenarios se van haciendo de manera simultanea durante el rodaje, esto quiere decir que cada vez que se cometía algún error en una de las escenas, hubo que comenzar de nuevo, desde cero, porque la característica de plano secuencia es que, una vez que se comienza a grabar, no tiene cortes. La producción estuvo conformada por 65 personas aproximadamente y fueron horas y horas de grabación intentando mantener la coordinación coreográfica del vídeo en el cual aparece, desde un hermoso perrito, hasta una auto en pleno set., cosa que me parece simplemente "demente"

The shooting of the video is done with a sequence shot, with a camera in a circular set, and the changes of scenery are made simultaneously during the shooting, this means that every time a mistake was made in one of the scenes, they had to start again, from scratch, because the characteristic of sequence shot is that, once you start recording, there are no cuts. The production consisted of approximately 65 people and there were hours and hours of recording trying to maintain the choreographic coordination of the video in which appears, from a beautiful puppy, to a car in full set, something that seems to me simply "insane".
3.- Mi gran amiga - San Luis
Esta canción de San Luis, es muy hermosa y trata de la confesión de amor de un chico a su mejor amiga, sin embargo, el gran Uno, tuvo la brillante idea de llevar un mensaje más allá de la letra de la canción, y al inicio vemos varias personas que aparentemente están confesando su amor secreto a alguien, pero en la última parte del vídeo vemos que ninguna de esas situaciones son lo que parece, y ese es el momento donde la historia da un giro de 360 grados y nos enseña que el amor va mucho más allá, de lo usual, de lo permitido, de los estereotipos y hasta de lo imposible... Esa es una de las marcas de Nuno en todos sus trabajo además del increíble juego con las emociones y el perfecto manejo de temas como enfermedades, la muerte, la soledad, el amor y la traición. Sin duda, UN GENIO!!

4.- Yo te esperaré - Cali y El Dandee
De este vídeo rescato el Dejavù con el que es contada la historia, lo que en lengua audiovisual llamamos flashback que es una interrupción de la historia con un salto al pasado, para recordar o explicar algo determinado.
En el caso de este vídeo, al inicio se puede pensar que, la chica es víctima de un secuestro luego de una fuerte discusión con su novio, quien arrepentido de sus palabras intenta buscarla para pedirle perdón, pero días después de su conflicto él recibe una llamada de los secuestradores de su amada, pero al final, con el uso de la técnica del flasback se puede apreciar que quien ha sido secuestrado es él y la chica es la que recibe la llamada. Esto fue una de las cosas que más me atrás de este rodaje ya que soy fanática de este tipo de historias con retrospectiva imprevista. me parece realmente increible.

La historia que relata el rodaje del vídeo es la persecución, en el mejor sentido de la palabra, de un chico adolescente que se convierte en hombre lobo luego de pedirle a la chica que le gusta que sea su novia. ¿se han imaginado ser novia de un hombre lobo? traumático, ¿no creen? en fin, en el vídeo se escenifican diversas situaciones para normales relacionadas con una noche de terror, que le ha tocado vivir a Ola Ray, la protagonista del video.
Fue grabado publicado en 1984, su director es John Landis, productor y guionistas de películas de comedia y terror... ahora todo tiene sentido, ¿no? ja ja ja. quien fue elegido por el propio Michael Jackson luego de ver su película «Un hombre lobo americano en Londres» pero tampoco hay que menospreciar el trabajo del coreografo Michael Peters quien también fue buscado por Jackson para cumplir la difícil misión de hacer que zombies y monstruos bailen sin que parezca cómico, la cual pudo cumplir a la perfección.

No tenía ni idea de que eso de los Planos Secuencias eran un asunto tan complejo. Realmente tienes razón, para quien no sabe de audiovisual ese vídeo no resulta la gran cosa...pero la verdad es que hay un gran trabajo detrás de todo eso.
