Music unites us, music is a universal language. No matter where on earth you are, or the time, there is always music. There are researchers who indicate that there were societies without writing, for example, but there have never been societies without music.

Music can respond to many reasons, from war calls to spiritual reasons. That's how big it can be, that's how much it can cover.
And even though each society has developed its form in music, its style, its instruments and its colors, we can always distinguish it and, to some extent, understand what it wants to convey.
Music is something very intuitive, WE ARE ALL (i mean, everyone, you, she, he, we, me...) in the capacity and we have the ability to make music with our body and our voice, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE IT. If you don't believe me, WATCH THIS VIDEO !!

(In fact, if you want to make music, and you think you can't, write to me and we'll talk; let's see if you're the only one in the world)

Si no me creen, MIREN ESTE VIDEO!!

Despite the fact that music is something intuitive and that we all carry inside of us, it can also be studied and stimulated, which is why, together with astrology (or astronomy), arithmetic and geometry form the quadrivium, four of the so-called liberal arts (Seven in total, the other three would be: grammar, rhetoric and dialectic). This "curriculum" comes to us from Greece, since they were the most important subjects to study by the people who could do it (those who were free, hence their name). Now, I think that the study of these arts makes us free, but this is the subject for another post.

With these first words about this art that captivates me, as well as many in this community, I say goodbye, but not before leaving here my interpretation of the extract of a work by one of the greatest musicians in the history of mankind. It is about the Prelude to the first Suite in G major, for solo cello, by JS Bach

Bach

I hope everyone is encouraged to look for the music that they carry inside.
Until a new post!
