Antonio Riggieri, Italian mandolin master, is the name of the composer who published numerous works for Mandolin in Paris in the second half of the century XVIII. The life of Riggieri is largely unknown and it is only known that, around 1780 he stayed in Paris. There he worked as a Mandolin teacher and from 1781 to 1783 published several collections of music for mandolin which he dedicated to distinguished personalities from the city of Paris. Most of his musical works are preserved in Paris, London and Berlin. For all this it is an immense pleasure for me to share, in this HIVE Platform, especially in this Music Community, a somewhat unpublished music in these areas, it is "La Fustemberg" Theme with 10 Variations, by the maestro Antonio Riggieri. This compilation was made by German Mandolin Master Marga Wilden - Husgen. The "Fustemberg Variationi No. 10" is the only work written by maestro Riggieri for Single Mandolin. Most music connoisseurs believe that this is a single work containing 10 variations on a main theme and has thus become known. The "Fustemberg Variations" show Riggieri as a master of classical mandolin interpretation, as he uses all the technical - artistic elements that were in fashion, making this work a very attractive concert work. In this Version, which I will be publishing in separate sections for each of the Variations, I have omitted some details that merit a more in-depth study from the technical point of view of the interpretation , such as the forms of attack with the pick or straw, the alternation of loud and soft sounds when striking two strings in the downward movement (soft and full tone), while only one string is struck in the upward movement (soft tone and light), the same are the levels of the volume of the sound, even the instrument with which this music must be played - mine is not the most appropriate because, the work was written for a special type of domed mandolin like the Italian ones. These details are the proper elements that characterize this type of music, according to the forms of the early classical. However, I tried a little to show, only in a general way, the knowledge and existence of this music since the tempos are suggested by me. With this I make it clear that my version is not the most correct or the most faithful reproduction of this music. It's just that, one more version. Here is the Main Theme and the First Variation. In a future installment I will publish the following variations. I hope you all like it and that you share it.

La vida de Riggieri es, en gran parte, desconocida y solo se sabe que, hacia 1780 se quedó en París. Allí trabajó como profesor de Mandolina y desde 1781 hasta 1783 publicó varias colecciones de música para mandolina las cuales dedicó a distinguidas personalidades de la ciudad de Paris. La mayoría de sus obras musicales se conservan en París, Londres y Berlín. Por todo esto es un inmenso placer para mí compartir, en esta Plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta Comunidad Music, una música un tanto inédita en estos ámbitos, se trata de "La Fustemberg" Theme with 10 Variations, del maestro Antonio Riggieri. Esta compilación fue realizada por la Maestra de Mandolina alemana Marga Wilden – Husgen. La "Fustemberg Variationi Nro. 10" es el único trabajo escrito del maestro Riggieri para Mandolina Sola. La mayoría de los conocedores de la música creen que esta es una obra sola que contiene 10 variaciones sobre un tema principal y así se ha dado a conocer. Las "Variaciones de Fustemberg" muestran a Riggieri como un maestro de la interpretación clásica de la mandolina, pues utiliza todos los elementos técnicos - artísticos que estaban de moda, haciendo de este trabajo una obra de concierto muy atractiva. En esta Versión, que estaré publicando en apartados solos para cada una de las Variaciones, he omitido algunos detalles que ameritan un estudio más profundo desde el punto de vista técnico de la interpretación, como las formas de ataque con la púa o pajuela, la alternancia de los sonidos fuertes y los suaves al golpear dos cuerdas en el movimiento descendente (tono suave y completo), mientras que solo se golpea una cuerda en el movimiento ascendente (tono suave y ligero), otro tanto son los niveles del volumen del sonido, incluso el instrumento con que debe ejecutarse esta música - el mío no es el más apropiado pues, la obra fue escrita para un tipo especial de mandolina abombada como las italianas. Estos detalles son los elementos propios que caracterizan a este tipo de música, según las formas del clásico temprano. Sin embargo, me esforcé un poco por mostrar, solo de manera general, el conocimiento y la existencia de esta música ya que los tempos son sugeridos por mi. Con esto dejo claro que mi versión no es la más correcta ni la más fiel reproducción de esta música. Es solo eso, una versión más. Aquí les dejo el Tema Principal y la Primera Variación del mismo. En una próxima entrega publicaré las siguientes variaciones. Espero que sea del agrado de todos ustedes y que lo compartan.
