Esta es la historia de dos conciertos increíbles en los que tengo la dicha de poder participar. Dos eventos donde la música, la energía y la magia hicieron de ellos un día inolvidable.
Hoy les contare del primer concierto. Conciertos llamados "Sinfonía Desordenada" 😎
This is the story of two incredible concerts in which I have the joy of being able to participate. Two events where music, energy and magic made them an unforgettable day.
Today I will tell you about the first concert.
Un poco de contexto: Como ya les he contado en la Sinfónica Ayacucho somos irreverentes. Hacemos cosas que nadie más hace y tocamos con personajes increíbles que muy pocas veces han podido interactuar con una orquesta sinfónica. En este caso toco con la increíble banda “Desorden Público”.
A little context: As I have already told you in the Ayacucho Symphony we are irreverent. We do things that nobody else does and we play with incredible characters that very few times have been able to interact with a symphony orchestra. In this case I play with the incredible band "Desorden Público".
En cuarentena estuvimos súper activos, y hasta grabamos un disco en casa junto a Horacio Blanco y su increíble banda. Si, como lo puedes leer, grabamos un disco con solo nuestros teléfonos celulares y qué creen, fue todo un éxito. Pero eso no se quedaría allí, porqué la idea era además hacer un concierto en vivo para todo el mundo. ¡Lo logramos, no una sino 5 veces este 2021!
Mi historia de hoy es del concierto inaugural en un lugar increíble, en una terraza de uno de los hoteles más geniales de la capital caraqueña. El hermoso “Tamanaco Intercontinental”, un lugar que siempre recordare porqué fue en una tarde mágica, con un atardecer y un clima de ensueño.
In quarantine we were super active, and we even recorded an album at home with Horacio Blanco and his incredible band. Yes, as you can read, we recorded an album with only our cell phones and what do you know, it was a success. But that would not stop there, because the idea was also to do a live concert for the whole world, we did it, not once but 5 times this 2021!
My story today is about the inaugural concert in an incredible place, on a terrace of one of the coolest hotels in the capital of Caracas. The beautiful "Tamanaco Intercontinental", a place that I will always remember because it was a magical afternoon, with a sunset and a dreamlike weather.
El concierto fue privado porqué se hizo para una causa muy noble, ya que todo lo recaudado fue para apoyar a la @ONTV, (Organización nacional de trasplante de Venezuela), sin dudas una organización que vela por el bienestar de muchísimos venezolanos.

The concert was private because it was done for a very noble cause, since all proceeds went to support the @ONTV, (National Transplant Organization of Venezuela), undoubtedly an organization that cares for the welfare of many Venezuelans.

La tarde cálida transcurrió al son del ritmo del Ska y las tonadas icónicas de la banda que ha emocionado a jóvenes y no tan jóvenes en toda américa con sus letras rebeldes, la denuncia constante contra los poderes que oprimen a los más necesitados y además de hablarnos de una realidad presente para todos pero que debe ser descrita en letras sinuosas para que no sean censuradas. Como es de genial que un público entero cante las canciones junto a su banda mientras aplauden enérgicamente a mis hermanos músicos.
The warm afternoon went by to the sound of the Ska rhythm and the iconic tunes of the band that has thrilled young and not so young people all over America with its rebellious lyrics, the constant denunciation against the powers that oppress the most needy and also to tell us about a reality that is present for everyone but that must be described in sinuous lyrics so that they are not censored. How great it is that an entire audience sings the songs along with their band while applauding energetically my brother musicians.
¡Qué día! La emoción no cabía en el pecho de toda la orquesta, y el público disfruto eufóricamente. Que merecido concierto para Caracas nos dimos. La emoción de cada amigo y compañero al ver que estábamos en cielo abierto con el Ávila a nuestra espalda, un bello atardecer y la dicha de hacer lo que nos apasiona en un país tan difícil fue un regalo no solo para el público presente sino para el alma de cada uno de los músicos presentes.
What a day! The emotion did not fit in the chest of the whole orchestra, and the public enjoyed euphorically. What a well-deserved concert for Caracas we had. The emotion of each friend and colleague to see that we were in the open sky with the Avila behind us, a beautiful sunset and the joy of doing what we are passionate about in such a difficult country was a gift not only for the audience present but for the soul of each of the musicians present.
Había tanta gente en esa terraza que por un rato me pregunte si era completamente seguro estar allí, pero recordé que la organización fue extremadamente planeada hasta el punto de que se cumplió un protocolo de bioseguridad muy estricto. Un evento muy emotivo para mí ya que recordé mucho a mi gran amigo y maestro Jesús Hernández, quien hace poco partió a mejor vida. Les hare un post completo contándoles acerca de este maestro de maestros que se nos fue hace menos de un mes. Como le extraño a este viejo maestro loco, pero genial, él hubiera disfrutado este concierto.
There were so many people on that terrace that for a while I wondered if it was completely safe to be there, but I remembered that the organization was extremely well planned to the point that a very strict biosecurity protocol was followed. A very emotional event for me as I remembered my great friend and teacher Jesus Hernandez, who recently passed away. I will do a complete post telling you about this master of masters who passed away less than a month ago. How I miss this crazy old maestro, but great, he would have enjoyed this concert.
Bueno, este fue un día súper emocionante porque además les cuento, ese día me entregaron mi violín luego de hacerle varias mejoras que quedaron geniales.
Well, this was a super exciting day because I also tell you, that day they gave me my violin after making several improvements that were great.
Pero lo bueno viene ahora, porqué este solo fue el primer concierto, uno de 5. Pero más emocionante de todos estoy seguro fue el que ahora les contare en el siguiente post, porque fue un concierto en plena calle con todo el público que pasaba, pero además un show de BMX que emociono a todo al poder disfrutar desde los balcones y ventanas un concierto sin precedentes.

But the good part comes now, because this was only the first concert, one of 5. But the most exciting of all I am sure was the one I will tell you about in the next post, because it was a concert in the street with all the public passing by, but also a BMX show that thrilled everyone to enjoy from the balconies and windows an unprecedented concert.
