Desempolvando partituras de mi archivo conseguí este obra de Ferdinand Kuchler, al estilo Vivaldi. Lo estudié un poco y acá les dejo el resultado.
Dusting sheet music from my archive I got this work by the composer Ferdinand Kuchler, in the Vivaldi style. I studied it a bit and here is the result.
Conociendo al compositor
Ferdinand Küchler (14 de julio de 1867, en Giessen - 24 de octubre de 1937, en Leipzig ) fue un violinista y violista alemán , renombrado pedagogo del violín y compositor de música instructiva para violín.
Ferdinand Küchler (14 July 1867, in Giessen – 24 October 1937, in Leipzig) was a German violinist and violist, renowned violin pedagogue, and composer of instructive violin music.
Küchler estudió violín con Johann Naret-Koning y Hugo Heermann , y teoría musical con Arthur Egidi e Iwan Knorr de 1883 a 1888 en el Conservatorio Hoch de Fráncfort del Meno . En 1889 tomó su primer trabajo como violista principal de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Basilea, también tocando viola en un cuarteto de cuerdas, y luego comenzó a enseñar violín en la escuela de música local.
En 1898 fue nombrado profesor de violín en el Conservatorio Hoch de Frankfurt, y también fue violista del Cuarteto Heermann dirigido por su antiguo maestro. Küchler regresó a Basilea en 1910. Al año siguiente se convirtió en director de una escuela de música privada y trabajó como director coral. De 1927 a 1936 enseñó violín en el Landeskonservatorium der Musik zu Leipzig (Conservatorio Estatal de Leipzig).
Küchler studied violin with Johann Naret-Koning and Hugo Heermann, and music theory with Arthur Egidi and Iwan Knorr from 1883 to 1888 at the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt am Main. In 1889 he took his first job as principal violist of the Symphony Orchestra in Basel, also playing viola in a string quartet, and later began teaching violin at the local music school. In 1898 he was appointed a violin teacher at the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt, and was also violist of the Heermann Quartet led by his former teacher. Küchler returned to Basel in 1910. The following year became director of a private music school and worked as a choral conductor. From 1927 to 1936 he taught violin at the Landeskonservatorium der Musik zu Leipzig (State Conservatory of Leipzig).
Küchler escribió libros de texto sobre la técnica del violín y compuso piezas instructivas para violín, incluidos varios conciertos de estudiantes. Su Curso de Instrucción de Violín de dos volúmenes (publicado por Hug-Verlag, Zürich) fue una piedra angular de la literatura instruccional de violín hasta mediados de la década de 1960.
Küchler wrote textbooks on violin technique and composed instructive pieces for the violin including several student concertos. His two-volume Course of Violin Instruction (published by Hug-Verlag, Zürich) was a cornerstone of the violin instructional literature until the mid-1960s.
