¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo la continuación de mi top de la semana pasada en la que les hablé sobre mis canciones favoritas versionadas por otros artistas en inglés, la diferencia con respecto al de hoy es que en esta reseña colocaré covers hechos en español.
Así que, sin más que agregar, comencemos:
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you the continuation of my top of last week in which I told you about my favorite songs covered by other artists in English, the difference with today's is that in this review I will put covers made in Spanish.
So, without further ado, let's get started:
1.- All Of Me (Spanish Version) - Kevin Karla & La Banda ft. Vesta & Dani Ride (Lyric Video)
Comienzo este top con uno de mis artistas de covers en español favoritos, se hacen llamar Kevin y Karla, ambos son hermanos chilenos que tienen una manera muy particular de hacer covers en español pues ellos reescriben las letras de las canciones en español y no las traducen literalmente (cosa que odio con locura), entonces, al escuchar esta versión conocí la gran calidad vocal que tienen en colaboración con dos cantantes impresionantes como lo son Vesta y Dani Ride.
La mezcla de las 4 voces fue magnífica y volvieron este tema icónico del gran maestro John Legend una belleza de pieza e interpretación, si no me creen, les invito a darle click al botón de play y disfruten de una gran versión en español.
I start this top with one of my favorite Spanish cover artists, they call themselves Kevin and Karla, both are Chilean siblings who have a very particular way of doing covers in Spanish because they rewrite the lyrics of the songs in Spanish and do not translate them literally (which I hate madly), then, listening to this version I knew the great vocal quality they have in collaboration with two impressive singers such as Vesta and Dani Ride.
The mix of the 4 voices was magnificent and turned this iconic theme of the great master John Legend a beauty of piece and interpretation, if you do not believe me, I invite you to click the play button and enjoy a great version in Spanish.
2.- Bad Bunny - Amorfoda - Cover by Mayre Martinez
Mayré Martínez es una de las mejores cantantes que ha nacido en mi país Venezuela, siempre he seguido su trayectoria desde que ganó un reality show conocido como Fama, Sudor y Lágrima, cosa que la lanzó al estrellato y la llevó hasta a crear su propia academia de canto en la cuál habría amado ver clases, pero lamentablemente no llegué a inscribirme mientras estuvo acá.
En este vídeo ella realiza un cover de una canción de Bad Bunny y aunque lo lean y les haga algo de ruido, les puedo asegurar que esta versión es simplemente increíble y totalmente impresionante por la calidad vocal que le coloca Mayré para hacer de ella una versión majestuosa, solo escúchenla y luego me dicen.
Mayré Martínez is one of the best singers born in my country Venezuela, I have always followed her career since she won a reality show known as Fama, Sudor y Lágrima (Fame, Sweat and Tears), which launched her to stardom and led her to create her own singing academy in which I would have loved to see classes, but unfortunately I did not get to enroll while she was here.
In this video she covers a Bad Bunny song and even if you read it and it makes some noise, I can assure you that this version is simply amazing and totally impressive for the vocal quality that Mayré puts on it to make it a majestic version, just listen to it and then tell me.
3.- CHRISTINA PERRI - A Thousand Years (SPANISH - Antes De Que Salga El Sol)
Leroy Sánchez es uno de mis cantantes favoritos de España, siento que tiene algo demasiaod especial en su voz y su manera de cantar que te atrapa; lamentablemente no pude colocar por acá un cover más reciente porque el vídeo no se reproducía directamente acá en PeakD y no me gustaba cómo se veía el vídeo bloqueado.
Sin embargo, este vídeo fue uno de los primeros que me llevó a conocerlos, me encantó demasiado el hecho de que también escribía letras originales para la versión en español que realizaba de las canciones, eso dice mucho a nivel de composición; esta versión es hermosa y espero que la disfruten tanto como yo.
Leroy Sanchez is one of my favorite singers from Spain, I feel that he has something too special in his voice and his way of singing that catches you; unfortunately I could not post a more recent cover here because the video did not play directly here on PeakD and I did not like how the video looked blocked.
However, this video was one of the first that led me to know them, I loved the fact that he also wrote original lyrics for the Spanish version of the songs, that says a lot in terms of composition; this version is beautiful and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Bonus Track - Lasso, Lucah - Souvenir (Acústico)
Del mismo modo que en mi top anterior, decidí colocar de Bonus Track una versión diferente de una canción que me gusta muchísimo del artista venezolano conocido como Lasso, el cuál realizó una colaboración con un dúo mexicano llamado Lucah; siento que esta versión tiene una magia increíble pues las tres guitarras mezcladas suenan increíblemente bien, además de que las voces del dueto tienen un brillo particular que hace que se acoplen muy bien a la canción.
Hay versiones mágicas de canciones que se quedan para siempre en nosotros, esta es una muy especial para mí, en todo sentido, y espero que ustedes la disfruten también.
Just like in my previous top, I decided to put as Bonus Track a different version of a song that I really like by the Venezuelan artist known as Lasso, who made a collaboration with a Mexican duo called Lucah; I feel that this version has an incredible magic because the three guitars mixed sound amazing, plus the duet's voices have a particular brightness that makes them fit very well to the song.
There are magical versions of songs that stay with us forever, this is a very special one for me, in every way, and I hope you enjoy it too.
