Hola queridos Hivers,hoy compartiré con ustedes otro de mis temas favoritos.
"At Last" , una canción originalmente escrita por Mack Gordon y Harry Warren para un musical en 1941. La escuché por primera vez en la voz de Etta James, cuando empecé a desarrollar un gusto por la música de los años 50 y 60, cosa que para mis padres era algo muy raro🤣, tomando en cuenta que nací en los 80's .
Los blues y el jazz son para mí la mezcla perfecta entre sensualidad y elegancia, pasión y nostalgia, es ese tipo de música que contiene un equilibrio perfecto, como el mejor de los vinos.
Te transmiten muchas emociones porque son esos ritmos que vienen del alma.

Hello dear Hivers, today I will share with you another of my favorite topics. "At Last" , a song originally written by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren for a musical in 1941. I first heard it in the voice of Etta James, when I started to develop a taste for music from the 50s and 60s, which that for my parents was something very rare🤣, considering that I was born in the 80's. Blues and jazz are for me the perfect mix between sensuality and elegance, passion and nostalgia, it is that type of music that contains a perfect balance, like the best of wines. They transmit many emotions to you because they are those rhythms that come from the soul.

Este tema representa para mí, el estado de plenitud que te brinda la certeza de un buen amor.
Dónde no hay dudas, ni brumas, donde todo fluye y te hace sentir exponencialmente feliz.
Cada vez que lo canto recuerdo a mis abuelos, con su amor sólido, que era a prueba de todo, dónde no había internet, computadoras, ni celulares.
Pero abundaba la música y el arte, los libros, las fotografías en blanco y negro, las cartas de amor perfumadas o manchadas por lágrimas.
Verlos bailar, cantar boleros y tangos en diciembre, era mágico.

This theme represents for me, the state of fullness that gives you the certainty of a good love.
Where there are no doubts, no mists, where everything flows and makes you feel exponentially happy.
Every time I sing it I remember my grandparents, with their solid love, which was proof of everything, where there was no internet, computers, or cell phones.
But music and art abounded, books, black-and-white photographs, perfumed or tear-stained love letters.
Seeing them dance, sing boleros and tangos in December was magical.
