El mundo sigue girando, sigue habiendo un mundial que está acaparando la atención de todos pero nada de eso es impedimento para que la música siga saliendo y podamos tener los respectivos estrenos musicales cada mes. También es verdad que algunos meses son más flojos que otros, no se debe a nada en particular sino que simplemente no vemos tantas canciones nuevas como uno realmente quisiera. Pero eso tampoco es un impedimento para que yo el día de hoy les comparta algunos de esos temas que a lo largo de este mes he podido escuchar y son la razón primera de esta publicación así que escuchemos entonces algunos de esos estrenos y descubrir si son del agrado de ustedes.

The world keeps turning, there is still a world cup that is grabbing everyone's attention but none of that is an impediment for music to keep coming out and we can have the respective musical premieres every month. It is also true that some months are weaker than others, it is not due to anything in particular but simply that we do not see as many new songs as one would really like. But that is not an impediment for me to share with you today some of those songs that I have been able to listen to throughout this month and are the first reason for this publication, so let's listen to some of those releases and find out if they are to your liking.

- Eros Ramazzotti - Los últimos románticos

Yo al ser una persona nacida en los ochenta y que mi juventud la disfruté en los noventas tengo que decir que estoy muy familiarizado con Eros Ramazzotti ya que este cantautor fue muy grande por aquellos años por lo que sonaba no en todos lados pero si era común de vez en cuando escuchar sus grandes temas. Que después de tanto tiempo siga sin perder vigencia, lógicamente no es lo que era, pero que todavía siga apostando por un genero que tal parece que las personas no escuchan tanto o que cada vez da la impresión de que esta quedando relegado es algo muy loable y es muestra de que sin importar que él seguirá sacando su música. Que ojo, tampoco es que no tiene público, el fanbase de Ramazzotti debe ser gigantesco. "Los últimos románticos" es la típica canción de él que le habla al amor, a las relaciones de pareja, a que todo es posible mientras se tengan el uno al otro si importar los obstáculos, todo cantado con la voz ronca tan particular y con sonidos un poco retros hay que decir, me sentí en el 98 escuchando este tema pero está bueno, el toque balada/pop/latino no puede faltar nunca.

Being a person born in the eighties and that I enjoyed my youth in the nineties I have to say that I am very familiar with Eros Ramazzotti as this singer-songwriter was very big in those years so it sounded not everywhere but it was common from time to time to hear his great songs. That after so much time he is still relevant, logically he is not what he was, but that he is still betting on a genre that it seems that people do not listen so much or that every time gives the impression that it is being relegated is something very commendable and it is a sign that no matter what he will continue to release his music. It's not that he doesn't have an audience either, Ramazzotti's fanbase must be gigantic. "Los últimos románticos" is his typical song that talks about love, relationships, that everything is possible as long as you have each other no matter the obstacles, all sung with his particular husky voice and with sounds a bit retro, I felt like I was back in 98 listening to this song but it's good, the ballad/pop/Latin touch can never be missing.

- Avril Lavigne - I'm a Mess (with YUNGBLUD)

Aquí caemos un poco en lo que estábamos hablando con Eros, que una artista como Avril después de quizás casi 20 años haciendo musica siga saliendo con temas que por donde los veas tienen el sello de ella es una cosa increíble. Esta artista es muy curiosa porque sobre ella ronda una teoría conspirativa que dice que la Avril que estamos viendo en la actualidad es una doble ya que la original murió hace unos cuantos años, eso es algo que ha sido desmentido y comprobado como falso pero aún hay personas que quieren creer eso. La realidad es que si, ella estuvo un periodo en donde estuvo ausente del panorama musical pero poco a poco ha resurgido con nueva musica y un ejemplo de ello es esta canción. "Soy un desastre" habla del como pueden quedar las personas después de una ruptura o cuando una relación de la naturaleza que sea se acaba. Esto es un poco el mood que siempre ha manejado Avril, ella siempre ha sido de esas artistas rebeldes que cantan de sentimientos oscuros, en el buen sentido de la palabra, tratando que todas esas personas que están esa misma situación se sientas un poco identificadas. Me gusta que siga sonando, a ella en su momento creo que todos la hemos escuchado.

I like that she continues to sound, I think we have all listened to her in her time.

- Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Shape I'm Takin'

Por tercera canción consecutiva volvemos con el tema de esos artistas o en este caso grupos o bandas que no pasan de moda y en esta oportunidad les tocó el turno a los americanos de Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Otra banda que tiene años de años haciendo música siempre fieles a su estilo no quiero decir psicodélico pero si bastante alternativo de hacer rock y que a tanta gente les gusta, yo incluido, estamos hablando de que tienen más de 35 años haciendo música ininterrumpida en donde su mayor éxito, "Californication" tiene más de trece años de estrenado. Este tema en especifico, el que les vengo a compartir hoy, pertenece a su disco más reciente [Return of the Dream Canteen] que marca también el regreso de John Frusciante a la banda después de más de diez años alejado. Es una temática muy única la de este álbum ya que si ven los videos en YouTube se darán cuenta de eso, está hecho como para que disfrutes el viaje completo una tras otra. La letra nos habla de la necesidad de una persona en especifico en aceptar a otra tal y como es ya que muy en el fondo esta persona está interesada al punto de que no es capaz ni siquiera de irse de la ciudad. Sin son fanáticos de la banda, sin duda este disco les parecerá bastante particular e interesante.

For the third consecutive song we return with the theme of those artists or in this case groups or bands that do not go out of fashion and this time it was the turn of the Americans Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Another band that has years of years making music always faithful to their style, I don't want to say psychedelic but quite alternative to make rock and that so many people like, me included, we are talking about that they have more than 35 years making uninterrupted music where their biggest hit, "Californication" has more than thirteen years of released. This specific track, the one I'm sharing with you today, is from their most recent album [Return of the Dream Canteen] which also marks the return of John Frusciante to the band after more than ten years away. It's a very unique theme to this album as if you watch the videos on YouTube you'll realize that, it's made for you to enjoy the whole journey one after the other. The lyrics talk about the need for a specific person to accept another person as they are because deep down this person is interested to the point that they are not even able to leave town. If you are a fan of the band, no doubt you will find this album quite particular and interesting.

- Alicia Keys - December Back 2 June

Alicia Keys todos los años hace una especie de especial navideño y este 2022 no sería la excepción a esa regla. Que mejor forma de darle la bienvenida al mes más feliz del año que con Alicia, de las voces más privilegiadas e impresionantes que tiene la musica en la actualidad. Yo creo que lo que más me gusta de ella es el estilo que le inyecta a cada una de sus canciones que muy sinceramente no se lo he visto a más nadie, es una forma de cantar, de moverse, hasta de vestirse que hacen que escuchar cualquiera de sus canciones pero hablemos de esta en particular sea toda una experiencia para nuestros oídos. La premisa es muy sencilla, si, es la época de navidad pero es una donde los regalos materiales pasan a un segundo plano, lo que importa para Alicia es aquello intangible, es estar allí para esa persona especial. De hecho esta no es el único con esta temática, según vi tiene dos canciones más pero fue esta la que más me llamó la atención. De las cosas que más raras me parecen es que Alicia nunca es trending, a ella casi nunca la vemos en lo más alto de Spotify por ejemplo a pesar de ser quien es, claro no es una artista que saque muchos temas pero no se, me parece muy curioso que esa historia musical de ella no se vea reflejada en estas plataformas. Sea como sea, muy top como siempre.

Every year Alicia Keys does some sort of Christmas special and this 2022 would be no exception to that rule. What better way to welcome the happiest month of the year than with Alicia, one of the most privileged and impressive voices in music today. I think what I like most about her is the style she injects into each of her songs that I have not seen in anyone else, it is a way of singing, moving, even dressing that makes listening to any of her songs, but let's talk about this one in particular, an experience for our ears. The premise is very simple, yes, it is Christmas time but it is one where material gifts take a back seat, what matters for Alicia is that intangible, is to be there for that special person. In fact this is not the only one with this theme, as I saw it has two more songs but this was the one that caught my attention the most. One of the weirdest things I find is that Alicia is never trending, we almost never see her at the top of Spotify for example despite being who she is, of course she is not an artist who releases many songs but I don't know, I find it very curious that her musical history is not reflected in these platforms. Anyway, very top as always.

- Paulo Londra - Nublado (feat. Travis Barker)

Cuando vi esta colaboración la verdad quedé loco, no podía creer que Travis Barker, un icono de la musica mundial y que ahora está más popular que nunca por el regreso de Blink a los escenarios se haya sentado a tocar una canción del argentino Paulo Londra. Nublado no es una canción reciente, tendrá unos cuantos meses pero este featuring si que lo es y la verdad es que está muy bueno. El plus obviamente es Travis en la batería que le da una explosividad y un toque de rock puro a una canción que evidentemente no lo es. Si escuchas toda la preformance de Barker te darás cuenta que claramente toca esta canción como quiere y haciendo lo que mejor le parezca para engrandecer el tema y sabiendo que los focos estarán dirigidos hacía él, no hay que engañarse con eso. Bien por Paulo Londra que cada vez se afianza más después de años silenciado y sin poder hacer música, se sabe quien es él pero estos juntes son cosas que rara vez se dan y eso por eso que hay que disfrutarlos además de que la canción suena verdaderamente bien, es un muy buen tema.

When I saw this collaboration the truth is I was crazy, I couldn't believe that Travis Barker, an icon of world music and now more popular than ever because of Blink's return to the stage has sat down to play a song by the Argentinean Paulo Londra. Nublado is not a recent song, it will have a few months but this featuring is and the truth is that it is very good. The plus is obviously Travis on drums that gives an explosiveness and a touch of pure rock to a song that obviously is not. If you listen to Barker's entire preformance you will realize that he clearly plays this song the way he wants and doing whatever he wants to do to enhance the song and knowing that the spotlight will be on him, there's no fooling yourself with that. Good for Paulo Londra, who is getting stronger and stronger after years of silence and not being able to make music, you know who he is but these meetings are things that rarely happen and that's why you have to enjoy them, besides the song sounds really good, it's a very good song.
