¡Hola estimados amigos de #HIVE!
Hoy comparto con ustedes un pequeño homenaje de mi parte a una de mis cantantes preferidas, cuyos inicios datan de la década de los 90, aquellos años dorados de la música como lo he venido comentando en algunos posts. Se trata de la hermosa cantante de origen sueco Nina Persson.
Recuerdo el primer video musical que vi de Nina, cuando era la voz principal del grupo sueco The Cardigans llamado Erase and Rewind, un video muy original para la época<, donde veías al grupo cantando en una habitación que se iba encogiendo hasta casi aplastarlos . Hoy día si lo oyes sigues creyendo que es una voz muy editada o mejorada con la ayuda de la tecnología, pues no, esa era y es su magnifica voz. Esta polifacética artista ha sido constante a lo largo de su larga carrera y ha tenido la oportunidad de cantar en un grupo exitoso, crear su propia banda musical e incluso actuar en algunas películas de su país natal.
Es bien recordada por sus canciones, por su extraña belleza física "su aspecto aparentemente frío y distante es solo una cáscara que cubre su verdadera personalidad dulce, amigable y humana". Durante la primera década del nuevo milenio fue diagnosticada con cáncer de útero y gracias a Dios y a su fortaleza, pudo superarlo y poder cumplir su sueño de ser madre. Lo que la convirtió en un ejemplo de superación y perseverancia.
Lo que más admiro de Nina es que ha mantenido su calidad vocal, a pesar del paso del tiempo, ha sabido cultivar su gran talento, lo que le ha valido para ser galardonada y considerada una de las mejores cantantes de los últimos 25 años. En opinión de este humilde servidor, es la reina del cover, ya que ha hecho maravillosas versiones de algunas canciones que han sido éxitos en la historia de la música y lo ha hecho de manera sobresaliente.
Por lo que hoy haré mención de tres de las versiones mas destacadas, o en este caso, mis preferidas:
GOOD BYE THE YELLOW BRICKS ROAD del gran Sir Elton John. (Sencillamente Magistral).
WHOLE LOTTA LOVE de la legendaria banda Led Zeppelin. (Contundente Presentación).
LOSSING MY RELIGION de la recordada y excelente banda REM. (Dulzura que enamora).
Como podemos observar, Nina Persson sigue siendo magnifica para interpretar cualquier canción, sobre todo de cantantes masculinos, por lo a cada éxito que versiona le da su toque personal y lo lleva a otro nivel. Ha recibido muchos reconocimientos por parte de la industria musical pero el mas importante es el de su gente no la olvida y siempre seguirá presente.

.Today I share with you a little tribute from me to one of my favorite singers, whose beginnings date back to the 90's, those golden years of music as I have been commenting in some posts. This is the beautiful singer of Swedish origin Nina Persson..
I remember the first music video I saw of Nina, when she was the lead voice of the Swedish group The Cardigans called Erase and Rewind, a very original video for the time<, where you saw the group singing in a room that was shrinking until almost crushing them. Today if you hear it you still believe that it is a very edited voice or improved with the help of technology, but no, that was and is her magnificent voice. This multifaceted artist has been consistent throughout her long career and has had the opportunity to sing in a successful group, create her own band and even act in some movies in her native country.
She is well remembered for her songs, for her strange physical beauty "her seemingly cold and distant appearance is just a shell covering her true sweet, friendly and human personality". During the first decade of the new millennium she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and thanks to God and her strength, she was able to overcome it and fulfill her dream of becoming a mother. This made her an example of overcoming and perseverance.
What I admire most about Nina is that she has maintained her vocal quality, despite the passage of time, she has been able to cultivate her great talent, which has earned her to be awarded and considered one of the best singers of the last 25 years. In the opinion of this humble servant, she is the queen of cover songs, since she has made wonderful versions of some songs that have been hits in the history of music and she has done it in an outstanding way.
So today I will mention three of the most outstanding versions, or in this case, my favorites:

WHOLE LOTTA LOVE by the legendary band Led Zeppelin. LOSSING MY RELIGION of the remembered and excellent band REM. (Sweetness that makes you fall in love).
As we can see, Nina Persson is still magnificent to interpret any song, especially of male singers, so every hit she covers she gives her personal touch and takes it to another level. She has received many recognitions from the music industry but the most important is that her people do not forget her and will always be present.
P.S. I love the holes in her cheeks hahaha.
