Finally, that day has arrived when I am publishing this post. Harmonic Study composed by Jean-Henri Ravina. So everything started about 10 days ago when in one of my piano videos @ewkaw commented and showed me a photo of an old beautiful piano with some piano sheets... I was curious what is that piece, so together we came to the conclusion that it is Harmonic Study, in A Minor, op. 39 no. 5, composed by a French pianist and composer Jean-Henri Ravina. I decided at that very moment that I would learn this composition and dedicate it to a new hive acquaintance, @ewkaw.
However, the learning process was not as easy as I thought it would be. The passages in the right hand proved to be truly difficult, my arm got tired when I practised... The notes were unequal, they were not as smooth as I wanted. The tempo was tricky as well, I just couldn't achieve some faster pace. But I diligently studied, every day, among other works.
In addition, I rehearsed one piece by Robert Schuman, published for Hive Open Mic. Also, I am preparing the fourth round of Hive Music Festival, the last entry of this edition, so it is important, as I have two points less than the first classified. It will be very difficult, and I don't really like competitions, but that is what it is. At the same time, I started to practice one surprise (Tchaikovsky) piece for @balticbadger, as it is his favourite composer, so I wanted as well to dedicate something in that way... Should I continue? Yes, @mariajruizb wished if I could play Claire de Lune, by Debussy for her daughter... So I started with this one as well. And not to forget my friend, mi amigo @amico, who is a piano player as well. I wanted to come up with some Italian thing, maybe, I just need a little bit more time.
In the video, you can see two recordings. The first one is this morning, in the school where I work. My fingers were not so light, I felt them a bit heavy. It was morning, and my best part of the day to play is afternoon or early evening. In the second recording, starts about at 01:07 I play it now, in the evening, at home. I play it faster and there are some random mistakes, I know. But that is the perfect imperfection that we musicians are facing while playing. If you all would be so kind and let me know which one do you like more, the morning or the evening take, it would be great.

Hola amiga quiero felicitarte por esta interpretació, me encantó porque mostraste los dos ángulos y es perfecto para aprender de la técnica tanto de la mano derecha como la izquierda. Me encantó la profundidad del sonido en el segundo video, además sentí que los dedos bailaban más relajados. Me encanta el piano. Te cuento algo, cuando mi bebita nació estando recién nacida le ponía todas las noches un concierto que tenía en Blu-Ray de Lang Lang y fueron pasando los meses, Cuando ya tenía los 5 meses aún se lo ponía y se paraba en su cunita, casi que ni pestañaba viendo a Lang Lang. Pasaron los años y cuando y atenúa 3 añitos me decía antes de dormirse mami ponme el chinito jajjajajajja. Aún le gusta, sigue amando la música clásica y mi bebé varón también es lo que más han escuchado en todo su crecimiento. Ya les voy a mostrar tu video. Por cierto mi hija ya tiene cuenta en #hive cuando puedas pasa por su blog para que la escuches cantar. Ella es @dreamystar. Un abrazo y que Dios siga bendiciendo tu talento.

Siiiiiiii estoy feliz por eso porque ella ama cantar, y no te imaginas la alegría que disfrutamos juntos al ver su emoción cuando la apoyaron. Quiero que crezca en esta plataforma a nivel artístico y no que este pendiente de otras cosas que quizás puedan ser negativas para ella. La música es milagrosa y se que ella la disfruta al máximo, por eso le doy gracias a Dios que existe este espacio para poder difundir su talento. 🤗

Oh my you are so much faster than me. I tend to play it more relaxed and with the pedal (I don't know the English name for it.. the one that prolongs the sounds). It is probably not correct way to play it, but I like it :D
Also, I don't know if it is a matter of recording, but I like the dark piano sound better.
I have another one for you. And no, I have never played this one. But I found it on Spotify and it is so cool it gives me goosebumps (piano hardcore for me):

Yes, the pedal is sustain pedal in English, hm and yes , we tend to use it when we want hide some mistakea (I admit)
The white piano is played by all my students, every day, during several hours, so...it is in poor conditions now
