Crystal Waters - G&L Comanche Jam

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Here is an original improvisation that started out with a beat I programmed in Superior Drummer using the pop ezx. Once the drums were programmed I added four tracks of electric guitar via my G&L Comanche and Axe fx II. The first track has a four repeat delay that kind of acts as a bass rhythm track. The second track has a really long drawn out reverb with a slow attack and long release to fill in the space on the left ear. The third track has a vibrato and wah on it to fill in space on the right ear. Finally the lead track has an autowah on it with delay and chorus to create a sort of wavy sound.

The overall mood of the song reminds me of clear water. I added some footage of last year's vacation to torch lake in Michigan where the waters are crystal clear. You can see little minnows swimming around near your feet in the sand bars. Thanks for listening :-)

The end comes together really well!
Have an Awesome Week!

Thanks :-) gotta love the camanche, it's like a strat on steroids, it has a nice beefy bridge with strong springs making it stay in tune better with a bit more sustain.

Right You are!
While watching Your video...
I remembered My Strat is not a Fender, actually a Memphis - so I should call it a Brat!
😆🤣😆
With the Floyd Rose bridge,
It is locking top and bottom.

Haha oh no! I know there are a few rare floyd rose strats out there, probably artists signature. Charvel makes a pretty good floyd rose strat as well. I think fender actually ownes them too. I've never seen a memphis guitar before, i'll have to look them up on reverb.

Howdy!
Funny I forgot about Charvel,
🤔
As I remember, they did make Strats as well!
I actually did a small amount of research on the
"Memphis Bratocaster" - My guitar,
Maybe I got lucky with this,
Be like a "Teisco del ray"!
What I did not know is that it was made in Japan. I bought it new around '93 in Germany, at the time it was the only thing like it and has extremely fast action. After years of the very heavy & very difficult to play Gibson's I was in!

Have an Awesome Mid-Week!

You should do a video on your gear one of these days. Looks like you have quite the collection. I've been fascinated with the Axe FX II for a while, but damn that thing costs a mint! 😁 BTW - Nice tune!!

These days you can get a used axe fx 2 for much cheaper than they were in the beginning. Now there's even a cheaper floor unit that basically has the same features as axe fx 2.

I pretty much only use Bias FX as a plugin, or on the iPad. The one thing that's missing is the foot switch. I've seen there is a midi controller that will work for iPad, but because I don't play live anymore I don't really need it.

I keep seeing the Positive Grid Spark amp which looks good and is around the 3/4 hundred dollar mark.

What's the cheaper floor unit you're talking about?

Looks like the FM3 is still on a waitlist I seem to remember it being way less than the axe fx III https://www.fractalaudio.com/fm3/

But there's a lot of people talking about the new line 6 helix floor unit as well. I've never really been too much of a fan of line 6 stuff though.
