One of the most epic acts at the generator show was Mister Cakes and the Fabulous Flames, a 10 piece instrumental ska band based out of Bellingham, WA. They don't have any recordings out but i have urged them to change that. Apparently it's difficult getting 10 musicians together at the same time (who knew!) but I'm hoping they'll be able to do some recording in the future. They played lots of covers of ska and reggae classics and they really got the crowd fired up.
