Mi amor por la poesía nació en la Universidad, fue en los primeros semestres en la carrera de educación, en los cuales hice una gran amistad con algunas personas que estudiaban en menciones como ciencias sociales, y literatura. Entre estos se encontraba un amigo que se llama John, este era un personaje muy diferente al prototipo de estudiante, era una persona de al menos 40 años, estaba retomando sus estudios, que había abandonado por diferentes circunstancias de la vida. John cuándo hablaba lo hacía en forma poética, era una persona que se había dedicado por mucho tiempo a escribir y recitar poesía.
My love for poetry was born at the University, it was in the first semesters of my education career, which I made a great friendship with some people who studied in mentions such as social sciences, and literature. Among these was a friend named John, a very different character from the student prototype, he was a person at least 40 years old, and he was resuming his studies, which he had abandoned due to different life circumstances. John when he spoke did it poetically, he was a person who had dedicated himself for a long time to writing and reciting poetry.
Tuve la oportunidad de leer libros que había realizado, poemas publicados y premiados. Allí comenzó mis primeros contactos con la poesía, al menos la escrita y recitada, aunque reconozco que toda la vida escuche música con un contenido poético. Comencé a estudiar y a buscar temas que me llamaran la atención y descubrí en la poesía latinoamericana un universo emocionante. De mis escritores favoritos están Mario Benedetti, Pablo Neruda, Gabriela Mistral, Julio Cortázar, Jaime Sabines, Jorge Luis Borges, Juan Gelman, y Jaime Sabines.
I had the opportunity to read books that he had made, poems published, and awards. It was there that my first contact with poetry began, at least the written and recited poetry, although I recognize that I have listened to music with lyrical content all my life. I began studying and looking for topics that caught my attention and discovered an exciting universe in Latin American poetry. Some of my favorite writers are Mario Benedetti, Pablo Neruda, Gabriela Mistral, Julio Cortázar, Jaime Sabines, Jorge Luis Borges, Juan Gelman, and Jaime Sabines.
Les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Alfonsina y el mar» compuesta por Ariel Ramírez y el escritor Félix Luna. Este tema lo escuché por primera vez en la voz de Mercedes Sosa, quien considero una de las grandes cantantes de la música latinoamericana. Esta canción es un homenaje a la poetisa argentina Alfonsina Storni quien tuvo una muerte trágica, al lanzarse al mar desde una escollera. Esta composición es de género Zamba, un ritmo bailable de las provincias del norte de argentina. Espero de corazón que lo disfruten.
I share with you my interpretation with the trumpet of “Alfonsina y el mar” composed by Ariel Ramírez and the writer Félix Luna. I heard this song for the first time in the voice of Mercedes Sosa, who I consider one of the great singers of Latin American music. This song is a tribute to the Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni who had a tragic death when she jumped into the sea from a jetty. This composition is of the Zambia genre, a danceable rhythm from the northern provinces of Argentina. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.

Hola @yisusth! Esta es una canción preciosa con mucho sentimiento impregnado. No tenia idea de que había sido compuesta por una muerte trágica, que triste, con razón es un tema tan desgarrador. Muy bonita tu interpretación!
Muchisimas gracias @oripenalver . A ella le habían diagnosticado cáncer de mama, y fue operada. Luego los médicos le dieron los resultados de un estudio que no era favorable. Eso la deprimió mucho. Al final término suicidándose arrojándose al Mar de la Plata. Este es un hermoso tema, en su honor.
