The good of Community

Doing good things for the good of the community promotes growth.

For each person I suspect they must consider that reaping what is sown is a determining factor. For example some people prioritize a clean house and some prioritize differently which results in not a clean house. Both are equally not good or bad to each other depending on the terms and definitions of their individual ideas of what is good quality of life.

To each their own perhaps in that if one does not care about a clean house then dont help them clean it does nothing for you or them to gain in that, but if you want a clean house then you clean it and it will satisfy your mind that you, yourself, are clean. and perhaps the quality of cleanliness will find a soft spot in the heart of the unclean and they can re-prioritize at some point to be clean if that becomes their desire.

I might add a thought that it is good for each person to do work and make their own means of living as to not become lazy and fall ill.

If a person is enjoying the food from of another persons efforts constantly without giving anything back in return, even though it is bliss, it's maybe enslaving the other to whatever extent or creating at least a chance for slavery or unjust circumstances to arise, to exist.

Unless the efforts of the other person aren't recognized as effort or a type of distress I guess... but still knowing the quality of life can be manipulated where a person may feel they have their fair share sometimes they dont, and it is important to recognize that because a dysfunction in the community based of perception can be harmful. For example maybe a community is unaware that the alcohol during pregnancy or unregulated garbage dumps or something is harmful. Then it perhaps is the obligation of those who know better to comity and educate and bring forth an awareness in the very least to any sort of proven dysfunction that causes harmful unwanted effects to what is it we desire, such as health and natural habitat.

So to help and to work can be different. The reason maybe a boundary has to exist is because of opportunities of direct oppression. Which is unhealthy, and we have seen the spread of poverty and perhaps can agree that it is not good for this to exist. Simply because the overall global community and environment will be impacted negatively with all sorts of dysfunctional hazards that no one wants to live amongst.

Also, to help someone in distress I think is good because if someone lies in the ditch that you walk by, and simply no one else either helps them they may die.
And when they die if no one chooses to help and remove the corpse there may be disease spread to those who go near and pass by.
And Not only that but the effect of that person dying may also impact others who in turn may end up on the side of the road in disparity to also be ignored and die,
furthering the chances of a calamity amongst populations.
