Some things will only make sense to us when they are no more. But before that, we always find ourselves holding onto them because we are scared that letting them go will only be another foolish decision on our part. We hate the thought of looking in that particular direction and not finding what use to be there. That moment when everyone at home just leaves the house with only you there and no one to talk with. Or that moment when you open the fridge to take your favorite snacks and realize you are yet to do a restock. But the beauty of all these things being absent comes in when you either need an alone time or when you will be traveling and don’t need things in your refrigerator.

When things that are not necessary are gone, it gives room for us to make space for what truly matters. What remains is the yearning for what is to come and making the most of what is already available. The beauty of absence can make one feel empty at first but that is a good time to think about things and help you see life in a clearer and different view.
Absence of something or someone is one thing that most of us dread if not everyone. But then, absence isn’t always something that brings bad energy to us. It is capable of healing us. It is capable of helping us realize more about ourselves. It can be boring sometimes but it is only a matter of time. See the absence of one thing as a door opening for something new, maybe even better. The absence of one can be an upgrade to something even better.
I saw the beauty in absence every time I’m going through a tough time and I just want to be alone and everyone is away. I saw the beauty in absence when I just turn off my data and focus on myself with no digital connection. I also see the beauty in absence when I give out things that I know I don’t have use for anymore, giving me a freer space and helping me focus on what I truly need.
My advice to anyone is to not be afraid of absence because it has a silent power that we will need at different points in our lives. It might come when we feel we don’t need it but as long as it comes, we should learn to accept it and make something out of it.
This is my response to the #kiss. Thank you for reading through. 💜
I completely agree with what you said: emptiness, absence, can create fear at first, but it's all about letting go, looking more closely at the dimension of each thing. Best regards.
