That's a good question, now sure why they weren't eaten. Perhaps they're too big for the type of animals we have in the city. Or they could be poisonous (although if they were it's likely that at least one animal would have developed resistance).
So, there must really be a reason why the birds and squirrels didn’t finish off these fruits. We have three visiting squirrels: one grey, one white, one red! They take a bite in all our fruits! Crazy! They should just eat the whole fruits in stead of ruining each one! My cats can’t climb tall trees! Otherwise they would not be running crazy!
