It may seem like a cliché, but a blonde woman dressed in red is what we call in Cuba a spotlight. It works as a lighthouse on calm nights as well as stormy or foggy nights. Let's say then that she is not blonde, let's go to the generality: any woman dressed in red is something worth witnessing. Miry knew what she was doing when she showed up on the safari on that red dress. I immediately realized that we were going to make a good team that afternoon. @alianlens also joined in, alternating between him and me holding the remote flash to light our scenes. We slipped to the back of the artisans' fair in Old Havana, where there is a long corridor with benches and, by chance, it was almost deserted, just for us.
Parecerá un cliché, pero una mujer rubia vestida de rojo es lo que llamamos en Cuba un foco. Funciona como un faro lo mismo en noches tranquilas como noches de tormentas o de niebla. Digamos entonces que no es rubia, vamos a la generalidad que tampoco les quita mérito: una mujer hermosa vestida de rojo es algo digno de presenciar. Miry sabía lo que hacía cuando hizo acto de presencia en el safari. Enseguida me di cuenta de que íbamos a hacer buen equipo esa tarde. También se sumó @alianlens, alternando él y yo el sostener el flash remoto para iluminar nuestras escenas. Nos escurrimos a la parte trasera de la feria de los artesanos en la Habana Vieja, donde hay un largo corredor con bancos y gracias a la casualidad, estaba casi desierto, sólo para nosotros.
