Hallo liebe Freunde,

of course I have used the beautiful warm weather this week to make a few small tours with my bike. Like last year in the spring, I went again this year to the so-called Himmelreich. There leads the Heunweg along, which is also a popular mountain bike trail.

natürlich habe ich das schöne warme Wetter dieser Woche genutzt, um ein paar kleinere Touren mit meinem Rad zu machen. Wie letztes Jahr im Frühling bin ich auch dieses Jahr wieder ins sogenannte Himmelreich gefahren. Dort führt der Heunweg entlang, der auch gleichzeitig ein beliebter Mountainbiketrail ist.

The first stop I made in Kreuzwertheim on the Main. From here you have a beautiful view to Wertheim. But also the Lutz brewery, which produces the delicious Spessart beer and the Kreuzwertheimer castle are well visible from here.

Den ersten Stop habe ich in Kreuzwertheim am Main gemacht. Man hat von hier einen wunderschönen Ausblick nach Wertheim. Aber auch die Lutz Brauerei, die das leckere Spessart Bier produziert und das Kreuzwertheimer Schloß sind von hieraus gut einsehbar.

Before it goes over the Bettingen lock to the kingdom of heaven, I allowed myself a refreshment (it was grilled) at my in-laws in the garden. It is amazing how nature literally exploded from one day to the next. As if from nowhere, the cherry tree bloomed in gorgeous pink.

Bevor es über die Bettinger Schleuse ins Himmelreich geht, genehmigte ich mir noch eine Stärkung (es wurde gegrillt) bei meinen Schwiegereltern im Garten. Es ist erstaunlich, wie die Natur von einem auf den anderen Tag förmlich explodierte. Wie aus dem Nichts blühte der Kirschbaum in herrlichem rosa.

With a well-filled energy store, it's off to the trail in the so called kingdom of heaven. That was once again a very memorable ride into the sunset.

Mit gut gefülltem Energiespeicher geht es ab auf den Trail im Himmelreich. Das war mal wieder eine sehr einprägsame Fahrt hinein in den Sonnenuntergang.

After a long break, I let myself be tempted once again to poke through to Bettingen on the right side of the Main. Unfortunately, the path there has been blocked for years by fallen trees. It's a bit tidier, but with a bike it's impossible to get through. But I was able to take at least a few photos of the village of Urphar, which belongs to Wertheim and is in Baden-Württemberg.

Nach längerer Pause habe ich mich mal wieder dazu verleiten lassen, auf der rechten Seite des Mains bis nach Bettingen durchzustechen. Leider ist der Weg dort schon seit Jahren durch umgekippte Bäume versperrt. Es ist zwar etwas aufgeräumter, aber mit Rad ist da kein Durchkommen. Aber ich konnte wenigsten ein paar Fotos von der Ortschaft Urphar machen, die zu Wertheim gehört und in Baden-Württemberg liegt.

I hope you enjoyed my little trip to Franconia. Maybe vacations abroad are cancelled for this year, but vacations in Inlang are possible with a little luck. Why not take a trip to the beautiful Tauberfranken?

Ich hoffe, Euch hat mein kleiner Ausflug ins Frankenland gefallen. Womöglich sind Auslandurlaube für dieses Jahr gestichen, Urlaube im Inlang aber mit etwas Glück möglich. Warum nicht mal einen Ausflug ins schöne Tauberfranken unternehmen?
Warum in die Ferne schweifen, wenn das Glück doch ist so nah? ;-)

Und tolle bearbeitete Bilder. Ich liebe es wenn man mit einem Bild, drei Bilder oder vier sogar wiedergibt. Ein wirklich schöner Tag den du mit uns geteilt hast.

Das sieht so richtig schön nach Frühling aus. Wenn ich die Bilder so sehe, freue ich mich schon so richtig auf meine nächste Radtour.
