Photography Lovers Curation Report
Hello Photography Lovers! Welcome to another curation report from the community. We are committed to curating the best photography content on the Hive BlockChain as well as fostering engagement within the community. Without you all this community would not be possible. In order to provide you with the highest quality experience, we are diligently seeking not just the best photography or photographers but the best content overall.
We will not be curating single-image posts, especially with little to no description. This community is focused on high-quality content which includes what surrounds the images you share here. If you only have one good image to post, you may consider saving it to put together with your next singles to create a more enriching post altogether. Quality over quantity will provide a more rewarding experience to the whole community in every sense.

Do I understand this correctly? In this community I am not allowed to post photos from other people's sources, even if I name the source of the image?
That would be a shame, because I colorize old black and white photos and then convert them into digital art. I would show an example here in the comments, but then I am already mutet?
Yes, you are correct. This community is for original photography. Editing photos like you are would fall more under and art category. There are a few other photo communities that may allow such edits.
Sourcing anything you use that isn't yours is good standard practice on the blockchain.
If the old b&w photos are creative commons zero attribution then there isn't a copyright problem or need to source for reworking the original photos but that would still be outside the Photography Lovers Community standards.
I would suggest checking other photo communities and/or the art communities. Sounds like a very interesting technnique!
