This girl who works as a model uses the traditional clothing of the Gayo Lues tribe.
More precisely, it can be called Gayo Openwork Cloth,
The Gayo Lues tribe is located in the middle of Aceh Province, Central Aceh Regency.
This dress has its own characteristics in its beautiful and meaningful motifs. There are several colors including green, yellow, white, red and black, of course some of these motifs and colors have their own meaning for the gayo community.
Initially this special cloth was only used during ceremonies, but as technology developed, many people made fashion trends for traditional clothes, not a few gayo people used these clothes for weddings, even in 2017 this gayo filigree cloth was designated as a legacy. intangible culture by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Reportedly, this gayo filigree cloth has also penetrated the national and international markets.
We conceptualize in this image another model that dances to the music emanating from the rapa'i sound.

Rapa'i is a traditional Acehnese musical instrument, played by hitting it with the palm of the hand, the harder it is hit the louder the sound, of course hitting rapa'i has a technique, as well as the tone notation.
only people who learn can play this traditional musical instrument.
In this blurry background you can see a group of other photographers, they are all my colleagues who participated in this activity.
Last year, a number of photographers in the province of aceh held a joint photo shoot involving all photographers in all districts in the province of aceh, in an effort to maintain cohesiveness and build friendship among photographers.
in recent years this activity has become an annual event.
This activity is located in one of the tourist attractions in Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia.
Documentary photos together after the activity was completed and went as expected.
