Hi guys

Today I want to share some pictures and a couple of vlogs I made on a recent trip to Banavie and Corpach, two village's in the West Highlands of Scotland near Fort William.

In this post we will be focusing on The Great Caledonian Canal ,a canal lock system namd Neptune's Staircase and the Old Boat of Caol which is a shipwreck on the beach near the Canal.

This vlog shows us walking up the Great Caledonian Canal and along Neptune's staircase.

Neptune's Staircase is the longest canal lock system in Scotland.I found this birdsview of it on https://www.scottishcanals.co.uk/destinations/neptunes-staircase/

Walking along the canal I took some photographs. From this area you can see Ben Nevis , Scotland's largest mountain. The canal is a popular place for walking ,it boasts some of the most impressive scenery in Scotland and is a great place for photography.

On the beach just across from the Canal we find The Old boat of Caol.A fishing boat which was torn from its moorings in 2011 and now rest on this stoney beach. Its considered Scotland's most photogenic Shipwreck. With the stunning West Highland scenery surrounding it you can get some amazing photographs.
