Hello guys,
I wish you a nice beginning of your week, to start my today’s post.
I had another beautiful weekend! Weather this September is gorgeous and we took advantage of this with my family. I am not sure if I mentioned already how good positioned is my hometown, capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Only an hour drive to the seaside and hour drive to the mountains and other natural gems of the country.
On Saturday we went to the seaside on a walk along the coast from the Portorož to Piran. This is my favorite walkway on our small coast. Park your car in Portorož, take an ice-cream at the famous place called Cacao, I assure you won’t regret that, and start you easy walk towards Piran which will be about an hour long. If you are having a kid it will probably take longer as he/she will want to throw stones in the water and touch a wave or two… I will have to take more time to promote our cost like I did with some other places in my Tour de Slovenia series, but this is not the case at current moment. We were there to enjoy family time together, so I even didn’t take my smartphone from my pocket all credit goes to my wife who take few photos. Probably you will want that she replaces me in taking photos in the future as well :)

On Sunday we went to Bled, mountains area. If you know a place from Slovenia it is probably Bled or Ljubljana or Postojna caves. These are three top attractions, but I didn’t write a single post related to them… That means I still have a lot to cover. Something will follow in the next days from Bled, but it won’t be anything big as I didn’t go there with this purpose on Sunday.

Ohhh yea it was a nice time!
Yes we have 4 seasons, but last years it is changing a bit. Winters doesn't bring that much snow at they were 10 years ago...

Yes, you are right. I might take 4 seasons for granted, but most of the World don't have that... It is really nice to experience all different times of the year.
Hope we will have white Christmas this year. It hasn't been for the last 20 years probably...
I am more of a summer guy, but thinking about winter makes me feel excited!
