Algeciras is the most important port in Spain. Both in terms of volume of goods and passengers. If we walk around the port area we can find huge steel ships that deserve a photo session.
En Algeciras se encuentra el puerto más importante de España. Tanto en volumen de mercancías como de viajeros. Si recorremos la zona portuaria podemos encontrar enormes buques de acero que se merecen una sesión fotográfica.
Some of them do not look like ships, but more like a floating industry with their pipes, cables, cranes and chimneys.

Others are small but with a lot of power. Their huge turbines and hydraulic equipment ensure that they can support the largest ships on the seas.

Others come from cities with a long seafaring history. Ships of singular shapes where the harsh climatic conditions are noticeable in their paintwork.

The docks of the port are more than three kilometres long. From the outer dock you can see the large cranes, the ships setting sail and the city in the background.
Los diques del puerto superan los tres kilómetros de longitud. Desde el dique exterior se puede contemplar las grandes grúas, los barcos que zarpan y la ciudad al fondo.
