The whole area is a mix of volcanic spouts and Tundra. So the mountains become extremely steep black plumes surrounded by Tundra built over millions of years. Really really interesting landscape to explore.
And ya haha the effort is rarely appreciated 💀 but, that's why I do it for me. I love the adventure and challenge to capture the images I want.
