Hello Hive!
Today's post comes with a bit of magic and fantasy, from the hand of Alice, a character that my friend Shynnel and my dear Niobe helped me create. I'll narrate a bit of what it's all about while showing you the images, so let's get to it.
Hola Hive!
El post de hoy viene con un poco de magia y fantasía, de la mano de Alicia, un personaje que me ayudaron a crear mi amiga Shynnel y mi querida Niobe. Narraré un poco de qué se trata mientras les enseño las imágenes, así que vamos a ello.
Alice in Dreamland is a character we created by mixing Little Red Riding Hood and Alice in Wonderland.
The mix came about because Shynnel, today's protagonist, is a fan of rabbits, and I had that red cape available for photos.
Alice in Dreamland es un personaje que creamos mezclando a la Caperucita Roja y a Alicia en el país de las maravillas.
La mezcla surgió porque Shynnel, la protagonista de hoy, es fan de los conejos, y yo tenía esa capa roja disponible para hacer fotos.
The location is the magical pine forest of San Pedro de los Altos. It is a beautiful place and ideal for different types of photography. We camped for 2 nights and made the most of the time to create.
La locación es el mágico bosque de pinos de San Pedro de los Altos. Es un lugar hermoso e ideal para diferentes tipos de fotografía. Acampamos 2 noches y aprovechamos al máximo el tiempo para crear.
Shynnel loves rabbits, she has stuffed toys, stickers, drawings, figures, and a large number of things related to these little animals. She took the opportunity and brought some of her stuffed toys to create this character.
Shynnel ama a los conejos, tiene peluches, stickers, dibujos, figuras, y un largo número de cosas relacionadas con estos pequeños animales. Aprovechó y se llevó algunos peluches para crear este personaje.
I wanted to achieve a dreamy effect in the photos, imagining that a little girl fell asleep thinking about her two favorite stories, and the result was this adorable character.
Yo quería lograr un efecto de ensueño en las fotos, imaginando que una niña se quedó dormida pensando en sus dos cuentos favoritos, y el resultado fue este adorable personaje.
Niobe was always helping and assisting me during the photoshoot. I like to discuss with her the framing, ideas and share what I have in mind. She also often gives me insights and different perspectives to what I do.
Niobe estuvo en todo momento ayudándome y asistiéndome durante la sesión. Me gusta discutir con ella los encuadres, las ideas y compartir lo que tengo en mente. Ella también suele darme ideas y diferentes perspectivas a lo que hago.
I fell in love with this forest. I consider it a magical and changing place, as its colors vary drastically throughout the day. From a deep blue to a vibrant orange. The ideal place to spend a few days and clear your mind.
Yo quedé enamorado de ese bosque. Lo considero un lugar mágico y cambiante, ya que sus colores varían drásticamente a lo largo del día. Desde un azul profundo a una naranja vibrante. El lugar ideal para pasar unos días y despejar la mente.
We did this photoshoot on the third day, just before packing up and heading home after a relaxing and creative weekend.
Esta sesión la hicimos el tercer día, justo antes de recoger las cosas y regresar a casa, luego de un relajante y creativo fin de semana.
I hope to return to this forest soon, breathe again its fresh air and take 500 more photos hahahahah. The creative mind is never quiet if it is not thinking about creating.
Espero pronto volver al bosque, respirar nuevamente su aire fresco y hacer 500 fotos más jajajaj. La mente creativa nunca está tranquila si no está pensando en crear.
