Two days ago I went to visit one of my favorite galleries and as it always happens, there was a nice surprise wayting for me. Today, in the digital era, with all the technology available, one can stay informed and know things before the visit, but even so, you can not rely on a poster or on an article. For me, it's better not to know anything about what I'm going to see, because once you have some information, your mind starts imagining things, then you realize reality is far from imagination.
There were two exhibitions as always, of which one was a photo exhibition, a solo exhibition of György Vajda. A very interesting and particular exhibition for many reasons.
This was the first photo I saw and saw that the photos were not printed on paper and are not under glass, as the majority, but were printed on canvas. I'm not saying this is totally new to me as I've seen it before, but it kind of new for exhibiting photographers as most of the exhibitors are still preferring paper under glass.

It was an exhibition with sale, you have the prices under each photo and if you are interested, you can divide the number by 5 (rough price of 1 euro in my country) and you can have the conversion in euro. This for example would have costed you 80 euro.
When you see a blurry photo at an exhibition, you know there must be a reason for the blur and definitely not lack of skills or bad technique as everyone exhibiting is past that level ages ago. Having a closer look, you can see, it's the reflection of the building in the water.
At the exhibition I knew already that I'm going to tag my good friend and excellent photographer @dimascastillo90 here, as photographing reflections in puddles is his specialty and he's doing it well. I love this shot as the cobblestones are giving the whole photo a bluish light and act like a textured frame around the puddle. It's a wonderful photo.

While looking at these reflection photos was thinking how I'd love to take some puddle shots, black and white as that's what I like, but paddles are pretty rare where I live, first because the lack of rain and secondly because most of the streets are newly repaired, no uneven surfaces where water could accumulate and cobblestones are not always retaining water.
The best thing is hunt for reflections on water, like rivers or lakes, but again, you need some buildings close to the water, which I don't have, but it's nice to see these cool shots at the exhibitions.
If I were to find a keyword, a single one to fit all the photos I posted so far, that would be water. This photo was taken in pouring rain, through the car window and it's a fantastic one. This was where i though i could have one of my photos printed out and placed on one of my walls. I have a somewhat similar photo, taken through the windshield, but the glass was not quite wet, but had foam on it due to being cleaned. For some reason, I can maybe appreciate these photos more than some nature photos, or let's say equally. You need to see the beauty in these shots though.

I can't even begin to tell you what a relief it was to be able to take decent shots, without worrying about glare or reflection. When you don't have to worry about the obstacles, you can focus on the photos and enjoy them, which was exactly what I did.
This photo is dedicated to @coolmidwestguy 😆 I'm always thinking of him, when I see fish, fishing or fishermen.

It's called the Lánchíd, built over the Danube, connecting Buda and Pest.

A bit late on this one. Been busy friend.
The poles are long but they need to be for sea fishing. Something I need to knock off the bucket list. Just dont want to catch a shark, haha. I should probably invest in some fishing art. It may get me out fishing more looking at it. Thats not bad is it? Nah cant fish too much l😆
