Living at the southernmost island of Greece is not the best place to enjoy abundance of snow, especially since my home is very close to the sea. But since the whole country is experiencing the first truly winter days of the season, I dug up a few pictures from a trip that I did a long time ago.
I took those shots at Ano Skotina, an old settlement at Pieria on a cold but sunny day of another January, when life was more simple and traveling much easier (shall we call it the pre-covid era?).

Thank you very much Katerina!
Wow what a stunning place to photograph!
It looks so old and steeped in so much history and intrigue.
And how is that tree! Incredible it is!
Nice one, thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you @chocolatescorpi
It is old indeed. You got that right!
The building was made in 1862 and the tree is for sure much older :)
Wow 1862...I don't think is that old for you guys over there though is is?
1862 is old for us here in Australia cause we are only just over 220yrs old, but Europe has so much more ancient history...
By the way, LOVE the dog too!
What a handsome 'boy'...?
