As I have previously mentioned, Madeira and Porto Santo are very close but there is one big difference between these islands. Madeira does not have sandy beaches, not natural anyway. Porto Santo however has a gorgeous sandy beach. Yeah, there is only one beach but this one is huge. The island is small and the open wide, long beach stretches 10 kilometers on the island's eastern coast. You don't need to worry about a crowded beach because there is so much space and on the island, there are not enough accommodations anyway to fill this beach with tourists.

Of course, the water is bright blue and gorgeous to see.
It's a hard statement to make that this is the most beautiful beach I have been to. In Florida, I also saw several paradise-like beaches but these were absolutely full of people. I think that the fact that this place was so calm and had only a few people will beat the FL beaches.
Yes, we went for a swim too. The water was warm, about 25 degrees C. We didn't go far because the current in this particular place was pretty strong and it tries to sweep you away from the coast.

It is definitely a beautiful beach, and the fact that it is not crowded makes it even better, in the photos where there are no people it almost looks like a virgin beach, you don't see such strong waves and that is pleasant for bathing.
There is only a couple of thousand people living on the island, thats why there isnt crowds and its great!
The only one beach? Such a wonderful beach to swim with the clear blue water and walk around. I bet it is a good place to put a camp since there are not enough accommodations for tourists. I definitely love this place! 😀 sending kisses and hugs to the sand and water 😆
Thanks! Yep, one beach only. All the other sides of the island are cliffsides. You can camp but I think it would be too hot during the summer time. In winter, yeah.
This is a really great looking beach. I love how much sand it has and that it isn't full of people. Definitely my kind of place to relax.
That island looks to be mostly composed of sand, and some rock 😅.
That's Paradise for me, that's how beautiful it is.
Yeah, this is a paradise beach, maybe needs a couple of more palm trees, but there are palms on the other side of the beach.
If it has only one beach… and it is such a beauty, it so doesn’t matter hehehe 🤭
