The image of flying birds are really in harmony with the Statue of Liberty. It's a beautiful photo.

It's a simple photo with a lot of symbolism. There stands the great monument of American liberty with her back to us, darkened and left to the birds as the light slips from the sky. The cranes of global commerce are an interesting backdrop.
Yes lots of soul searching going on in the US at the moment.
