Mount Harold

in Photography Lovers4 years ago (edited)

People have a lot of misconceptions about Australia. One is that it is a place with no snow. Australia in fact has significantly more winter snow cover area than Switzerland. This is a multi shot panorama of Mount Harold (1,126 meters or 3,694 feet) looking across the Surprise Valley in King William region of the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park in Tasmania, Australia. You really need to click on this and look in high resolution to appreciate the detail in the shot.

Cheers mate. That is a great photo. Tasmania has always been in my bucket list. My goal is to do one of those camping treks. One day....

Back to your photo. Did you take this while going on a trek?

Just from the side of the road.

There I was thinking of San epic trek just to take a photo.

Just the side of the road.

Lol

Its an amazing road; but yes from a lookout from the side of the road. There are some amazing treks down there; with many more views that you can get from the road let me assure you ;-)
