Wow, it's a really beautiful little town and also with amazing landscapes around! I totally understand why people visit it in crowds during the season... I was fascinated to read that all that movement stops after New Year's Eve and the shops and other businesses only start to open again in spring!... It must be a lovely few months of empty streets to photograph and put all that in black and white! -one of my habits, empty places in B&W hahaha :) -... As always, a delightful article to read and with lovely photos!... Thanks for sharing @plantfuljourney friend!

I think it is lovely for those who live there. They get a few months of peace and quiet before all those tourists return again.
I can imagine it would look amazing in black in white. You know, in the past I have always walk around with my camera, but it is so heavy that I can't do it anymore as it hurts my shoulder and my back, so these are the best shots that I can get with my phone.
Thank you for your kind words and I wish you Happy Holidays! If you celebrate of course 😊
Hummm... My old Nikon D7000 can represent 1.7 Kgs hanging from my neck depending on the lens I put on it, so for some time now I usually wear a kind of soft neck brace to avoid discomfort. When I don't have it handy, I even use a t-shirt folded in a tubular shape around my neck... I know very well how much pain and fatigue a big camera hanging around the neck can cause!... I wish you and your near people happy holidays full of health and joy!... Here in our family we celebrate these dates, although I am the “least festive” among all hahaha :))... “The crazy uncle with the camera who is a vegetarian and do yoga” that's my nieces description for me... hahaha :) HUGS!!!!
