Observing the statue of Diana the Huntress, crowning the highest point of the emblematic Hyatt Hotel, there, on that authentic Golden Mile that is Madrid's Gran Vía, I cannot help but think that even Love - that divine treasure - was also and it continues to be the Achilles heel of Mythology.
Diana's attitude, aiming her bow at the sky with perseverance, goes beyond the unknown intentions of the Neolithic Indalo: it is the desperate action of a fighter to regain her lost love, her intention being none other than to bring down the Phoenix Bird sent by Zeus, his angry father, to kidnap the great love of his life, embodied by the mortal Endymion.
