Amara was about to turn 1 and her parents thought of a cake smash set up at the shore! I said yes of course for this opportunity.
I thought taking pictures of babies and kids would be easy peasy but it wasn't.
Kids get distracted easily, they can't be asked to pose, they don't follow orders and most importantly, they do what they want to do. In short, they are the boss so you will just have to do your job.
These photos were taken at Warren public beach in Guindulman, Bohol. Armar and Jessa Itong's firstborn, Amara enjoyed her cake smash, even tried offering it to me.
After a few minutes of just sitting down with the cake, look at it now. Baby Amara had a lot of sugar and calories in her system now and she wants to go to the water for a swim!

I admit I had fun taking photos here, the couple is a friend and churchmate and it was my pleasure to take photographs of their beautiful baby girl. I wish I can have another chance of taking baby photographs aside from taking photos of Matti, my baby boy.
