Puente de l'Inca means "The Inca Bridge".
It is a natural arch that forms a bridge over the Las Cuevas River.
That bridge was made by the combination of the glaciers and the hot springs near by over a long period of time that started in the ice age.
Another bridge from the Inca period near Mendoza.
It is now impassable, but it still stands.
It is always impressive to see that structures from this era still stand and that bridges made with "modern materials" do not remain for more than 50 years.
The Mendoza region gives us beautiful panoramas to admire through the mountains, the vineyards and the Inca ruins.
To get there, we stopped by this lake.
It was a little chilly but the view was worth it.
Along the way, we drove through the Andes to admire the colored rock formations and realize how small we are.
Unforgettable views of the Andes as we get remarkably close to America's highest mountains.
