Caramel; My brown skin is bliss| Photos I created from project "Caramel"

It's been quite a long time since I was "very" active on Hive. The travails of being a commercial photographer really caught up with me this month. And while it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm actually grateful.

I haven't had time to work on any personal projects this month, and it kinda sucks; although, I still have some uncompleted projects. With the little spare time I get, I try to edit these "unfinished" projects. And 2 weeks ago, I edited some part of project Caramel.

Project Caramel is currently my favorite project of the year. And it's surprising because I didn't exactly plan too much for it. Everything literally just happened. And the photos were amazing. The stylist, makeup artist, and model contributed greatly to the success of the project.

Check it out;

The objective I aimed to achieve from this project,was to depict rich brown skin tones. Basically showcasing and celebrating my "africanism". This was evident not only in the skin tones, but the scenery.

The project was a success for me personally. And a lot of people on Instagram were feeling it too. There was heavy traffic on my page for over 3 days. It was good to see.

I decided to share on the Hive and see what you think of the photos/project.

Great work - the background and sky colors really complement the model's clothing and skin. You certainly achieved your aim of rich skin tones!
I like the use of the sign as a posing prop. Great work from everyone involved.

Thank you very much. Funny how the sign post was a spontaneous suggestion. The location scout didn't even tell us about it.

Cool ... I like this soft color and strong photos :)

Thank you very much. I'm glad that you love the colors.

I be soon back more :) I'm sure you have some cool photos more soon here up ;)

Sure!!! More photos incoming.
