Tree Part Two - Light Painting On HIVE

ANOTHER VISIT TO THE TREE

After the crash of the camera and the Rotation Tool on my last outing, I fixed the Rotation Tool and walked to the free-standing tree one more time.

I glued the screws to the bracket with screw glue and then secured all the screws with locking varnish. I don't think any of the screws will come loose now.

I still have to adjust the tool a bit, but basically it works again.

I illuminated the tree with the Emisar D4V2 and various colour filters. During each exposure I rotated the camera around the optical axis.

Here I had also attached a prism to the lens.

Finally, I took one with the triangular prism.

WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?

Light painting is a unique form of art. The darkness is illuminate by the artist with diverse light sources and light traces are paint into the picture with various light tools. Various techniques are use, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during the exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited. All the pictures were taken during one single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cutting and possibly adjusting the white balance, the pictures are not processed on the computer.

Danke 😊
Ich freu mich auch.

Wow. So, you have a Nikon camera. I'm trying to Invest in a camera for video making.

How good is that camera for Video making?

I never used the camera for videos. I can't tell you anything about the quality. Sorry.

It's alright. Hehe. I'm still doing research. I'm sure I will get to have solid information soon.

Thanks for the feedback.

LOL this effect is really interesting... i had never seen something like that before!

O M G, so beautiful, first reaction on seeing what you've shot. I love all of them. The first three give the feeling of going down through a portal to another universe, lot of depth with those ones for that reason. The last two are just so cool, both of them. This is an excellent tree you selected for subject matter. You've nailed it in every single photo.

I don't think any of the screws will come loose now.

No loose screws of any kind for you anywhere.

Great post!

Thanks 🙂

You're welcome, keep making that which I cannot so I can be the voyeur, lol!
