Understand... Same here, actually. And thats the reason why I always embellish reality in my photos... St.Petersburg is nice city with terrific weather, I do not forget to repeat this to all potential tourists 😉 but we always can brighten our life with coffee and !PIZZA 😘

Finland, Sweden, Norway -- more or less similar environment and nature. (Unless specifically the imperial part of Russian history is considered).
Ah! I see! I haven't been to any of the Scandinavian countries yet. If I were to guess which one might be the first one, it would be Denmark, because my best friend's husband is from there. Still, my husband would like to do the Trans-Siberian railway trip one day. That would be quite an experience for me.
Trans-Siberian railway trip! that would be like walking in David Bowie's shoes - I read that he did exactly this sort of a travel back in the days of the Iron Curtain, in 1979, if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't mind having that experience myself. Ahem. Let's not say "no" 🤑
