I feel that if I don't tell this little story related to these photos, I would be betraying my memory.

I was so tired that I looked like a Zombie, the exhaustion was gigantic, it was noticeable in my whole being. Arriving home and sharing a few minutes with my wife and daughters while they were fixing their hair, I was ready to continue my work at the computer with a good cup of coffee, the truth is that the fatigue was unbearable, I was awake since 4am and my office work was very heavy. I finished at 2am, I retired to my room and felt how the bed embraced me and calmed my collapse.

It did not take long, I think less than 5 minutes, when a cricket began to sing very loudly, and the eardrum of my ear vibrated with each song. I tried to ignore it, but in that process several minutes passed until it became an hour, and after 3am I decided to do something about the situation, I was bedridden and had to work the next day. I got out of bed and started to look for the cricket, but when I got out of my bed it was quiet, it stopped singing, and I could not find it, it was very small, and although there was good lighting I could not see it, when I returned to my bed and went into relaxation the cricket friend returned with its song, each time with greater volume.

The situation continued until it became unbearable; I said to myself, this is not going to stay like this, so I decided to stay away from the bed and sit near where I suspected the noise was coming from, to make sure the cricket was there, knowing that when I moved away from the bed it would stop singing. I stayed that way, in total silence, sitting on the floor for several minutes, so sleepy and heavy that I was unconsciously nodding my head until I almost fell over, until to my surprise, it finally passed, sang again, and I immediately located it. Oh my God, I finally located it, it was playing with the hair of one of my daughters or my wife.

To my amazement, he was really very small, and although I got very close to see him, he didn't get scared but he did stop singing, he seemed nice to me and ...I want to think that tiredness led me to talk to him and tell him to let me sleep, I took my camera and told him "I won't do anything to you but I will take some pictures, and if you wonder, it is because I find you nice; your quiet there, and pose naturally", and he kept silent, he didn't move in the least, allowing me to take several pictures of him.

When I finished I said goodbye to him asking him kindly to please let me rest, that I needed it, that the next day when I went to work I could sing as much as I wanted; I told him, I really did. I know you are not going to believe this, but it was like this: the cricket friend stopped singing, and finally I could sleep in peace and quiet. When the sun came up I felt better, already recovered a little and I went to work, when I returned very late in the afternoon, as soon as I entered my house, my wife and daughters told me, "there is a cricket that as soon as you left for work, he has not stopped singing". Of course I was surprised, even more because of the complicity between me and my cricket friend, a kind of agreement. We stayed that way for about three days until I never heard from him again. Wherever you are, my cricket friend, I only hope you have or have had a good life.

Saludos, @morenow.
