It's that time of year!
My favorite flowers are edible. As for those that aren't "joining us for dinner," I like perennials. When a flower comes back year after year and just continues to bloom and spread, it's welcome here and we sure enjoy them. These irises came from a variety of friends, and they remind us of them whenever we see them bloom. I spent some time photographing a few in the garden and by the pond earlier. Enjoy!
