Getting there slowly.

I have been released from hospital yesterday and for now am showing pictures from my files, as I have not been able yet to take photos.

This was a trip that we took to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of the African continent.

As usual, they wanted to prevent my wife to be present in the ward after I came out of theatre, so she had to explain my greatest fear to them. Whenever I come out of theatre, I start pulling pipes and needles out, as I want to get up. At times, they have to rush to give me sedation as I am almost impossible to control. Fortunately, she was there and I behaved for a change:)
Come and join us on this roadtrip.

There is a famous hot water springs at the town called Caledon, but they have built a casino there and I can only wonder why, as we were there during my army years in 1972 and the spring was in pure nature all around. So, one could even skinny-dip in the pool late at night. So, we have not visited the hot springs during this trip. Maybe I will go there one day.

During Springtime, it is such a wonderful occasion to be on this road, as the Canola fields mixed with all the other produce fits in a picture like a multi-colored puzzle. Absolutely beautiful to see, and the views stretch up to the horizon. I have only a small sample of the colored patches in here, to give you an idea of what it normally looks like during springtime.

This is the colored puzzle that I was talking about above.

Finally, the sun ray pointed at the place where a fortune was buried, and some day I will come to dig for it:)

I am glad to see that my humor is still intact, and that all the pills and injections has not removed my humor. We will be going back tomorrow, and then we will have to wait and see if the medical process was successful and that my iron levels will start to be restored. I just have this funny feeling that the battle is not over yet, as we have struggled to determine the cause of my inner bleeding for more than 6 years. They have cauterized some lesions in my stomach, hoping that this might be the cause, as my iron level continues to be at a critical level.
But for now, there is always hope.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures.

I am amazed to see the scenery that you share, the nature there is very beautiful and clean, moreover there are flocks of sheep in the dry grass, cool.
Btw, I hope you get well soon from your illness and can return to your normal activities.
