Astrophotography Set № Three

Here is another set of a photographs I took over the past few weeks; I'm still struggling to find dark skies, but I went to two places that I know local astronmers use to star gaze the night sky. The first set of images were taken near a state park about 25 minutes out town.

The second set came from a spot called Middle Ridge; a little bit better in terms of lower light pollution, but I'll keep on trying to find the perfect location. I have a few more spots in mind.

A sea of stars everywhere at night. Orion's belt was in the majority, and why not? Winter here is the perfect time to gaze upon the Great Hunter. It's a beautiful scene...I'm trying to evolve and learn as I go along. More photos to come soon. Thanks for checking them out!
