Silhouettes always stand out so beautifully in the evening sky ... They keep details secret, but they clearly outline the general contour of objects, which is sometimes even more beautiful in pictures than if you shoot the same object in the light.
This photo was taken in Vershinino, a village in the Plesetsk District of the Arkhangelsk Region, Russia. The main silhouette in this photo belongs to one of the two churches in the village — the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a stone church built in the middle of the 19th century. In the first half of the 20th century, it housed a club, and then a boarding school. These were difficult years, and the building was badly damaged, now it is being restored little by little. In particular, the domes (and there are 5 of them, as they were in their original form) and the roof were placed several years ago.
Perhaps the church does not look very good outwardly now: it is still far from full restoration (although it was certainly very beautiful before). But its five-headed silhouette, like a century and a half ago, is beautiful.

У меня последнее время тоже штатив с собой только в поездках, но зато уж тогда стараюсь наблюдать каждый закат и вставать почти на каждый рассвет)
