Although I have a couple of analog cameras that I used quite a bit years ago, more recently I bought another that caught my eye when I saw it on the Internet: the Diana F+, from Lomography.
Aunque tengo un par de camaritas analógicas que usé bastante hace años, más recientemente compré otra que me llamó la atención cuando la vi en Internet: la Diana F+, de la marca Lomography.
Is made of plastic and was inspired by one that came out in Hong Kong in the early 1960s. In this opportunity I will present you the second series of photos I took with it and some shots from the first session that I left out when I published it here in my blog some time ago.
Está hecha de plástico y fue inspirada en una que salió en Hong Kong a principios de 1960. En esta oportunidad les presentaré la segunda serie de fotos que hice con ella y algunas tomas de la primera sesión que dejé por fuera cuando hace tiempo la publiqué aquí en mi blog.
As you will notice below with these shots, what made this type of camera popular again and created the Lomography movement, is the texture it achieves in the images, that coarse grain. Precisely the flaws they have are their strengths for lovers of experimental photography.
Como notarán a continuación con estas tomas, lo que hizo populares nuevamente este tipo de cámaras y creó el movimiento de la Lomografía, es la textura que logra en las imágenes, ese grano grueso. Precisamente los defectos que tienen son sus fortalezas para los amantes de la fotografía experimental.
It's a bit expensive to work with analog photography nowadays because you have to buy rolls of film, do the developing, print on paper.... but hey, sometimes you have to pay for the fun hehe. What do you think of these images?

¡Hola! Los rollos los compré afuera por Internet, pero en Caracas se conseguían en algunos sitios, por ejemplo dónde revelé, en el C.C. Chacaíto, no he pasado por ahí últimamente a ver si la tienda sigue abierta.

I love myself some analog pictures! It is always so exciting to wait and see what is going to be developed. There is a community for only analog photos on hive, if you take analog pictures more often you might want to crosspost them there as well.
